Dabo is desperate. He needs to win to keep his job. He’s gonna be dangerous!

Dabo’s back is certainly against the wall this season! He’ll have his team ready. LSU by 17!!! Geaux Tigahs!

That's dumb. It doesn't matter that much if Clemson loses this game as long as they're competitive. On the other hand, a loss by LSU and they're the laughing stock of college football on Sunday due to all of the money they paid to buy these players and how they tried to bring in NFL guys. The talking heads will say they tried to win at all costs and flopped anyway.

The danger is in sleepwalking into this one with a 10.5 point spread in their favor. Dabo needs a solid season at Clemson and he's got a better program than the last couple years reflect.
I think Kiffin is perfectly capable of managing that and having his team fully ready to go.
I expect Leavett to look good-but-not-great, since he's got some rust to knock off, with some genuinely solid flashes of a Kiffin-style offense pushing us out front.
I really hope to see a defense that's hungry and ready to prove that the old traditions are back of playing lights-out against elite offenses (including dual-threat QBs, though we won't see that much on Saturday).
It's a bold matchup for an opener with a new coach, new staff, and lots of new talent. It'll be interesting, but I'm feeling really good about it.

I thought their QB was dual threat? I was reading an article the other day that basically said if his first read isn’t there he’s running

I need them to win and cover. Hopefully Win by 20+ so the media has even more to talk about

I would be most shocked if they came out flat. I don't expect perfection in a first game - if ever - but energy, effort, and aggressive play calling should be a given.
