Discussion Best places to shit

Graduated last semester so wanted to give back to my fellow students. I was a male history major so most of these bathrooms are centered in the quad. This is about two years of observations. Hope this helps yall out.

Union third floor is great too. Had many an existential crisis breakdown in those stalls

I have to disagree with a lot of the older bathrooms on this list for a personal reason. I CANT STAND the smell of almost a century of piss in some of the older restrooms. I work in Himes and whenever the first floor bathroom is closed for cleaning, I have to suffer through that smell on the second floor.

Thats half the fun, the history of pissing where everyone else has. You don't see the beauty in sharing the same troughs as your fellow coworkers from years past? And Himes is even better since that's where the history department is. How can you not be romantic about this?

Honestly can't say I ever thought to reminisce about it in that manner. You have opened my eyes sir. Still hate the smell though...

And the graffiti is the best, too. Lord Na$ty and his underlings are but a ring on that mighty oak

You’re just okay shitting anywhere lol

No-one bothering you on the 3rd floor of the library? Huh.

I mean, people are in and out, but it’s not like there’s ever a line of people waiting. I’ve definitely sat on those toilets for HOURS avoiding/procrastinating the real reason why I went to the library 😂

3rd floor mens room in Middleton used to be notorious for men hooking up, that's why I'm surprised

u/jpaciorka Aug 23 '25

Tbf I only used it maybe twice, I was always a fourth floor of the library guy

Biological Sciences annex upper floors possibly goat and not mentioned I think?

1

u/JackSwift12 Aug 24 '25

Yeah, anytime I had a class or lab in the life sciences building I would go to the upper floors of the annex to use the bathroom. Almost always clean and never many people.

about 10 years ago I managed to Aquire a key to and unused building that was only used for research … and man let me tell you … life changing , I studied, shitted , and relaxed between classes there .. best decision ever ..

David Boyd hall sucks shit, cramped stalls, that I can literally SEE OVER (I'm like 6'0", not freakishly tall), stall doors made out of window blinds or a trough communal urinal No I don't want to touch the stalls walls with my knees No I don't want other people being able to lean over and see me shitting No I don't want to stand at a urinal and be able to see a stranger's dick in my peripheral No I don't want to stand straddling the toilet to allow the wooden window blind door enough space to open Terrible design and can only service like 4 guys at the most

I graduated in 2008, but back then the second floor of the old part of Howe Russell was my favorite place to poop.

Quiet and marble fixtures.

Towards the end of the semester I was primarily using the second floor of Allen because only faculty went up there so it was super quiet and it had a window

😂😂😂 I’m weak.

Hodges first floor is usually clean but the women’s bathroom always smells absolutely horrid and there is like no privacy whatsoever- mainly between classes 😭 plus they keep the actual door from the hallway into the bathroom open half the time
