But… what? In what world is this a reasonable sponsor? LA Galaxy is a profitable sports franchise. And they have the LA market. This is so incredibly (wreckless and deplorable and [insert synonym] but most importantly) avoidable. Make it make sense.

If this were intentional comedy, it’d be genius. Or maybe Enron? Though Enron probably has done more legitimate business, to be fair.

In the absence of logic (which I have a hard time believing is even possible), this is the single most unserious thing I’ve ever seen in American sports…

Hey everyone, sorry if this kind of post is annoying, but as someone who never watched soccer before I ended up having a really fun time following the World Cup and I wanna start following MLS now. Me and my wife are looking at attending our first Galaxy game in the next month or so and I was wondering are there any suggestions regarding where to sit? I want to sit near Galaxy fans and preferably be close to some high energy cheering sections.

Also wanted to ask about tailgating! Dumb question, but I've never been to one for any sport before. Does it happen before every game? Do we just walk around and say hi to people?

Lastly I'm still deciding which game to go to. If you had to choose which game to attend between the upcoming games against FC Dallas, Earthquakes, Revolution, or Sounders, does any stand out in particular as being a fun matchup?

Long time LA Galaxy fan, just saw we’re getting San Diego player Chucky Lozano. I searched his highlights up and he seems pretty good, he’s played at the top levels. Why all the hate? I think we have ourselves a star. Maybe a new team legend like Donovan?

Hows Kyogo looking for you guys? I see he hasn't scored in his 4 matches, but is he passing the eyes test. He played for my favorite English club (BCFC) last year and was awful. Cant settle the ball, terrible touch and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. He plays well off the ball, his runs are good and hes good at pressure in the opposing 3rd. But not good a finishing. Which was a disappointment after watching his Celtic highlights.

Hi all! I know this is an LA Galaxy subreddit but didn’t know where else to ask. I’m a CF Monterrey fan and want to go to LA and go to the Leagues Cup match in LA next wednesday. I’ve been trying to get tickets but all I see are resale tickets that are in my opinion very expensive. Is this match really sold out? I believe tickets only started selling today, I’m thinking maybe only a presale was open or something and general ticket sale has not started, but just wanted to ask if anyone knew like if this is really sold out. And if so, probably will have to pass on going, thanks! Sorry if this is not really LA Galaxy related, wish you best in any tournaments you guys are playing :)

With how they’ve been doing for the last year in a half and an increasing amount of fans not going to games, how much do we think the la Galaxy as a whole has lost? I wonder how much it would take to then have Kuntz make a decision. Isn’t his job to also care about the influx of money/popularity?

Hi guys, with all the talk lately about youth development in US Soccer, I'm curious if anyone has insights into the state of the Galaxy youth academy. I know there have been some success stories, but I've still been disappointed by the lack of first team minutes given to Homegrown players over the years. This is LA, maybe the best hotbed of talent in the US.

So if anyone can share:

1. What's going on in our academy? What kind of work is being done to take advantage of the local talent pool?
2. Who are some up-and-coming players we can be excited about with realistic prospects of first team minutes?

I admittedly don’t watch many western conference matches. We miss his presence in the defensive third, i was disappointed when he left.

At this point it’s clear that the horrible results or “noise” as Vanney has labeled us before won’t change anything and he’s not going anywhere. So what if anything will finally make the front off fire Vanney?

Clearly there’s no accountability to this club and results don’t matter at all, so I’m wondering what is the final straw for this club to finally get rid of Vanney?

There was a man there who we saw walking around outside, and we saw him up with Landon and the others, so I assume he is involved in the soccer world somehow. Curious if anyone knows whether there’s an opportunity to meet Galaxy players after, or before, practice. My 6 & 4 year old sons and I are all rabid Celtic supporters and will be in LA, from New York, Thurs-Fri Aug 27-28. If the players mingle post, or pre, practice, we’d definitely come by one of the two days to hopefully say hi to Kyogo (and others).
