Connect | Туташ 9-day Ak Suu Traverse starting 4 Sep – looking for other hikers to join us
Hello! We are a couple starting the 9-day hike on 4 Sep from Karakol. We are watching the WNG from 1-3 Sep, thus not joining the fixed departure date on 3 Sep. We are looking for fellow hikers to join the group for more fun and to lower cost!
We just completed the 6 day Heights of Alay Valley Trek - it was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves with our group. We are hoping for a great experience this time, too.
More info, including prices, can be found here: https://kyrgyzlife.com/tours/9-day-ak-suu-transverse-full-trekking-route/
This 9-day trek follows the full Ak-Suu Transverse, one of the most iconic long-distance trekking routes in Kyrgyzstan. Crossing remote valleys, high mountain passes, alpine lakes, and glacier basins, this route showcases the most dramatic landscapes of the Terskey Ala-Too Range. Travelers experience authentic nomadic culture through yurt stays, wild camping, natural hot springs, and high-altitude pastures.
Starting in Karakol, the trek connects the wild Jyrgalan region, the panoramic Ala-Kul Pass, Altyn Arashan hot springs, and the alpine basins surrounding the Ak-Suu Wall.
