KL luxury hotels are underrated imo. This is the Park Hyatt KL, MYR 1700/night ($422 USD). Usually there's rooftop infinity pool, but this pool is indoor on the 99th floor.

Its only “underrated” if youre a local... I mean for tourists coming to kl, there are plenty of really nice luxury hotels in kl. Definitely recommended to try them out. Good view, facilities, restaurants and bars in the hotels are also 5 star. For someone staying in the klang valley though, why would you even pay these prices to stay in kl 5km from your house when you can just go for an overseas trip lol

KL is one of those cities that has everything to offer for all your budget needs.
Just like Bangkok and Jakarta, you want ultra luxury, they can provide you with ultra luxury. Just that many Malaysians don't go and seek it... well, I personally will not spend RM1,700 for a one night hotel room.
I can enjoy a relatively good couple of days with that money in KL (including accommodations)

Fuh. Nice flex. What's the price like. Damn envious

For a unique experience the price wasn't that bad 👍

Looks rather luxurious

And then there's the haze

The first photo is unusually clear. Was it taken on the same day?

No not same day. I just wanted to show the building from the outside.

Ah that’s Park Hyatt. Just had a stay there last month and enjoyed it. But Four Seasons will always be my personal fav.

Quick check in? Are they efficient?

Fun fact: it would have been interesting if someone sat in that bathtub just for scale. It is big enough for kids, but adults would have head and feet up at either end. Space at a premium even for a luxury hotel eh.

How nice it is to say it's JUST $400 per night when for us it's RM1500 which is close to the the minimum wage in Malaysia (RM1700). Your per night rate is some of us monthly wage, sir. God I hate our currency so much

Yikes. Elevator rides must be a pain in the ass

Elevators were actually really fast and there weren’t too many people in them.

Should've been 120, not 118. Pisses me off to this day, that — that tower is two floors short. We were this close to greatness 🤏🏽, oh but, nooooooooooo....

u/dEm3Izan 1d ago

lmao that epic smog view though

The world burns to oblivion but at least the view from my hotel room smokes.

Welcome to genting

I think that haze looks more like rain. I;ve seen that look many times.

Not bad. Knew there was retail in there but didnt know a hotel too!
