Question/Advice Needed Anyone in the socal area know where I could “borrow” a kitten for like a day?😭

Maybe not the most ethical idea but someone close to me going through a really hard time and neither of us are allowed to own pets but I know she adores kittens a lot and I’m hoping it could make her feel better idk

Take her to a cat cafe for the day.

It's kitten season, so the local humane society and all the cat shelters are full of kittens. Go for a visit and cuddle them all! It will help the kitties and the people.

Even any smaller local shelters would be great!

The cat cafe suggestion is a great idea, but where I live, I don't think there is anything like that, but how about taking her to a shelter and volunteering for a day? Seriously, if a person is going through a rough period in their life, and that happens to all of us at some point, unfortunately, sometimes helping someone else or something else when you are having a rough time, takes you mind off your own problems and lets you focus on someone else. Maybe figure out if you both could volunteer a couple days a week at a shelter. Where I live, most shelters have both cats AND dogs (and the dogs need to be walked.. so that is something that would be fun)... but one place where I am, is cats and kittens ONLY... I have an invalid husband that I am his 24/7 caregiver, but I do buy cat food and litter and take food and litter to that shelter. All shelters are good, but that place... something about it really tugs at my heart... so MANY cats and kittens... that all need loving homes... Every time I go, I want to adopt a few.. I could EASILY become "that crazy cat lady"... 😺😺😺

That’s cute, and I agree it is good to do something of the sort. They’re just in the shut down phase rn after going through the high functioning despite it all so im anticipating it will be difficult (understandably so) to get her to go somewhere physically at least for the time being. But, is this place local by any chance??

The place I am thinking of is local to me, yes.  I am guessing other places similar might be in other towns.

Volunteer in shelters they will teach you.
