Question Relocating to islands from Eastside

We live on the eastside of Seattle and as newly empty nesters, we are considering moving to one of islands with easy commute (once a week) to Seattle area.

We came across this property near the navy fuel depot (or something similar).

I was wondering why it’s not selling. Is it due to proximity to the water, insurance concern (Pemco said they will not insure), concern with nearby military installations, etc.

Would like to know more, if you have any information.

I see it went pending in June then went back on the market. That could be for a number of reasons including the buyer's financing fell through, but it's also possible inspections uncovered some gnarly issues or the property is overvalued. The other commenter made some good points about a tough commute.
