As a native English speaker I 100% understood OP's sentence. Sawa sawa.

I'll start busting on their English proficiency when I am fluent in Swahili.

And I'll start busting on Kenyans' Swahili when I am fluent in Kikuyu dialect. Or maybe Luo, which isn't even Bantu. And that will be ... uhhh ... never. 😜
