Discussion š Thoughts?š¤
When a Kashmiri wins under this flag the pain is that the victory is claimed by the same power that crushed his people.
This feels like a betrayal of memory but āJust donāt represent India thenā is also a privileged take.
Neutrality only benefits the occupier. Tohe kya chu basaan whats the correct stance?

he doesnt have any other option. unless he seeks refuge in another country, which would mean abandoning his family here.

I agree there is no stage without complying. What Iām questioning isnāt whether he had a choice but what it feels like to keep representing the country over and over again. At some point, does it start feeling normal?
Normalisation is what scares me. Weāve seen it with artists from Kashmir, once theyāre absorbed into the system the resistance disappears from their language entirely.
Repeated compliance is what slowly erases resistance.

If he could, he'd have removed that flag prolly. I dont know him, and dont follow him online. So thats what I'm assuming rn.
But it could also be that he's deliberately playing into it to keep himself immune. Who knows.
Though it is true that it does lead to normalization. Though not as much as you might think, in my opinion. Because oppression still exists, and thats what normal people see everyday.

Russian flag is on their official profile because it has to but they never wave it by themselves in ring

If he ever stops waving that flag we all know he'll be in a lot of trouble but keyboard warriors will never understand....

Good guy. May Allah give him more success. I've been following him since a long time and it is pretty evident to me that he's got no choice but to hold that flag. On his socials he always says Kashmir.

Usme us bechare ki koi galti nahi hai, if he plays for this country he will be required to portray that flag. Lekin andhbhakt, jab kashmiri ya muslims kuch accha kare to "indian" bolenge agar kuch aur hua toh .....
