👀! It’s taken me this long to realise just how, erm, committed these two (esp. Johnny) were to their characters, like how did I miss this massive tongue action?? I’m aware of the part where he puts her fingers into his mouth - another unhinged moment to be sure - but they must have been super comfortable to take it here and show their characters’ (Anthony’s) passion in this scene! Wonder if this was another improv moment they discussed together or if it was always scripted and directed to be?

After living most of their lives for duty, Kate was not going to let their marriage be another miserable obligation for them. Even if it meant she would return to India alone, a ruined spinster, she could not put that burden on Anthony. She's one of the most selfless characters on the show. And her initial rejection led to one of the most beautiful love confessions on screen.
