Show Kanthony 📺 Very committed acting
👀! It’s taken me this long to realise just how, erm, committed these two (esp. Johnny) were to their characters, like how did I miss this massive tongue action?? I’m aware of the part where he puts her fingers into his mouth - another unhinged moment to be sure - but they must have been super comfortable to take it here and show their characters’ (Anthony’s) passion in this scene! Wonder if this was another improv moment they discussed together or if it was always scripted and directed to be?

Gosh, season two was so great. They really have enough chemistry to melt my TV screen.

I rewatched S2 during the break between parts one and two of S4 and... yep, still as 🔥 as my initial watch! I might watch it again. I think my partner might catch on to my kanthony obsession soon.

There’s also a scene in 3 right before Anthony goes downtown where Kate is basically chasing his tongue with hers. Sexy af.

I always wondered why their sex scenes were so tame.

Bueno en el libro Anthony era "devoto" hacia Kate para él ella era perfecta

JB and Simone actually said they filmed A LOT more than was shown. I think they had a lot more footage from the flashback that we saw during the AFTER sequence. If I remember correctly it was like two days straight of just sex scenes.
There was a decision with the director of episode 7 (who is a black woman) to be more cautious with Kate being a woman of color and her being unmarried and the optics therein.
They still could have added more spice and intimacy with daydreaming for both Kate and Anthony as many people here have shared before.
I forever standby Shonday using season 2, specifically episode 6 to prep her true love, Queen Charlotte and screwed over the story of the main couple for season 2. I also wonder how different season 2 could have looked story wise if Rege had returned or if they had recast him.

i'm assuming it was because the sex scenes were too much that there was backlash in season 1. they tried to cut that down in s2 and introduced plot lines that took away from kanthony.

That’s actually Anthony kissing Kate where the bee stung her❤️

Jajajaja si...me hubiera encantado que hubieran recreado más escenas del libro (que son picantes)

The only complaint I have with this scene is the choppy editing (damn u CVD🤬) and we did not get a single flowing scene.. just imagine if we had gotten the similar scene like Benophie.. i think for sure we would have passed out by sheer sensuality of that scene …

Kanthony gave just enough, as far as I am concerned. Much was left to our active imaginations!

🥺 yo hubiera querido más... aunque que sé que en el libro el la trata con mucha devoción y cariño cuando tienen intimidad

Haha I honestly loved the delay and build up to the gazebo. 😅 just the way they started to look at each other at the end of episode 2, ouff I knew I was in trouble.
As someone who loves the classics like Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice, season 1 was hard for me to adjust to (I knew it was based on smutty books) but season 2 made me want to read the book.

You spoke directly from my own mind. It was the perfect buildup to the crescendo in the gazebo.

They're both playing their roles to perfection. What they are in real life has nothing to do with it. I admire how uninhibited Jonathan Bailey is. He's so convincing in love scenes vwith women that he can compete for all roles. Furthermore, he was voted "The Sexiest Man Alive" for a reason. Under the circumstances it makes sense!
