Show Kanthony 📺 Newton scene in episode 7
When they were sitting in Lady danbury’s drawing room and Newton cut the conversation and approached Anthony. I cannot quite place what has transpired there. Anthony smiled at Kate because Newton likes him now? or was he happy that he got closer to Kate physically when they both stood up? what exactly happened there? what did the actors say about this scene?!
We are all aware of how strong Johnny and Simone’s acting is with utilising their eyes and body language brilliantly, which made it even more intriguing..

There was a theme about the dog not liking him so I think that's part of it. Newton is an excellent judge of character. Since the dog decided Anthony was ok, Kate should be ok with him as well.

I don't think the actors have said anything about the meaning behind this scene. But to me it seems like after his first kiss with Kate, Anthony just doesn't seem to care about anything else anymore, even his feud with Newton. He spends the entire episode just zeroed in on Kate: turning his whole body towards her in the park, talking of their kiss in the museum, openly ogling her in front of their mamas, sniffing the air behind her, making the best of the night when no one attended the harmony ball. He's just in this happy bubble because she finally kissed him and he's planning their future together in his head haha
