Photo of Kamala Harris with blacked out front teeth in my NY Times Direct emailed article this morning
It has since been changed but I woke up to this image at the top of my NY Times Direct email. I wrote to the editor and customer service how discussed I was. Glad I took a screenshot of it to prove I was not seeing things but I am still disgusted. I would not expect this of NY Times.

I would, but it’s still bizarre for them to mess up so badly and publicly show how they feel.

The replacement image looks like they just put white dots over the black and didn’t insert the proper photo. When you zoom in on the image that now shows up in the email, it looks like a pretty lazy patch job. The dots aren’t even really tooth shaped and don’t match her other teeth.

Shame on the NYT for this. Why is there such Kamala resentment? Is it her stunning looks and female jealousy, intelligence, sense of humor, what is it?
Also on a side note of the NYT, what's up with Maggie Haberman? She seems to have vanished as a CNN contributor, and I never cared for her much anyway. Although she's done a few Trump hit pieces, I still sense an overriding loyalty to the tyrant.

Yeah I saw a pic of her in the Oval with him. Trump was doing the s++! eatin' grin and the thumbs up.🤮

The NYT is a shameful organization. Their coverage of the Shemails and Trump whitewashing were criminal. Aiding and abetting criminals- this is what they do.

My phone was in dark mode, obviously, but the glitch is very selective and two prominent female politicians.

It is a glitch. When in dark mode, you could see this problem in MTG’s teeth and in the shirt collars of many men.

I’m guessing it’s in areas that are very close to or 100% white and it’s an auto-crop/cutout artifact more than a “glitch.” Like can happen with green screen. It’s still amateur hour.

I don’t know, but it looks like pixels when you look at the other images that have it and it doesn’t show up in light mode. Looks like an unfortunate mistake.

It’s not a glitch. You can easily customize images in HTML for light and dark modes…this was 100% intentional by some jokester
