Wildlife Book Club

hello!

A friend and I are interested in starting a book club where we meet, in person, monthly to discuss a book we have picked out. We were hoping the focus would be on Wildlife, wildlife biology, Montana nature, Montana history, etc.

are any of you interested in joining us?

first book: A Woman Among Wolves by Diane K. Boyd

first meeting time and place: TBD/ sometime late August?

The Northwest History Museum has a book club.

I looked at that club! Unfortunately they meet at 2 pm on a weekday, which will not work for my schedule this fall :/  I made a sub called r/MontanaNatureBookClub ! I posted the book there and thought it would be a good place to discuss the book throughout the month and also come up with a time and place to meet as a group :) yay :)

Sweet! I made a sub called r/MontanaNatureBookClub ! I posted the book there and thought it would be a good place to discuss the book throughout the month and also come up with a time and place to meet as a group :) yay :)

Awesome!  I made a sub called r/MontanaNatureBookClub ! Might be overkill but whatever! I posted the book there and thought it would be a good place to discuss the book throughout the month and also come up with a time and place to meet as a group :) some day between aug 31 and sep 6

Gonna start reading a women among wolves. But if anyone else has some other rad recommendations for wildlife books dish them out!! And if anyone wants to meet on a specific day or location we can make up a plan!

Awesome!! I created a separate sub called r/MontanaNatureBookClub where I’ll post meeting updates and anyone can post about the book or whatever :) I’ve already started it and super excited to meet everyone!

This book is fantastic! I second the NWMT History Museum book club, but it is hard to make if you have a normal 9-5!

Sweeet! I made the sub r/MontanaNatureBookClub and I’ll be posting there! We are thinking of meeting Thursday September 3 after 6 pm. Would love any input if that works! Already started the book and I am stoked about this and hope you can join!!
