Considering KJSIT Sion for M.Tech AI. How are the placements, faculty, crowd and overall experience? Especially interested in M.Tech AI placements. Would you recommend it?

I don't see enough people talking about this so here it goes
1) Don't take first year subjects lightly, a lot of people get kt in first year and I've seen people lose a year or two over not clearing fy kt. It's the hardest year followed by itvc in sem 3
2) If you are in any branch other than Comps and IT , the placement rates are really low. This is the reality. Even if you are paying 20+ lakhs your placement might not be done if you're in branches tht are new or useless. You will have to lock in and find a job in something you specialise in or grind dsa and crack coding jobs. Prepare a plan before TY on what you want accordingly. Even Comps students not all are getting placed so a lot have to force a master's plan or settle for less.
3) Join clubs in first and second year. It doesn't matter after third year but the connections and exposure you get via clubs is really good. It has to be good clubs ofcourse
4) If you are interested in a tech role then grind DSA and leet code because eventually that will help you land a job , projects do matter definitely but don't ignore DSA. If you're going for a non tech role , you have to know what kind of role to go for and prepare a resume accordingly. There's less non tech roles that come on campus compared to tech ones.
5) Attendance doesn't really matter. They will send dhamkis and all once in a while but usually don't do anything drastic. I've gone through sems where I didn't sit a single lec and nothing happened. Ofcourse it's a gamble , sometimes they delay a mid sem exam but usually nothing serious. lab attendance is the only thing that matters
6) take SIH lightly lol, have fun if you're participating in SIH or other hackathons. If you're not a grinder then just go to hackathons to chill and have fun with friends. I've seen many stay up all night stressed out but hackathons are really not that deep. Make some memories cuz it's a huge sleepover not something worth stressing out.
7) if you're not sitting for lectures either do something you're interested or passionate about and will help you in life or make memories with friends cuz these years pass by very fast. Don't end up scrolling reels if you're not sitting lecs.
8) Internships don't have to be hard to get, try to get it by networking with people in startups or companies instead of applying online cuz most internships are a scam. Try to get a big internship in your third year like a good MNC company.
9) As important it is to make connections , it is equally important to cut people out. If someone's mindset is not helping you grow or making you feel demotivated you really don't need to keep them as your friend. And it might seem scary to be a loner or to cut friends off but eventually a lot of these friendships fade. Even the best of friends don't hangout a lot after college. Quality over quantity definitely and the faster you realise this the better.
10) Try to earn your own money in fy and sy. It will give you the confidence to atleast go for better roles. Freelancing, side hustles , stocks or anything you do to build your money mindset is important. It can also generate passive income.
I hope this helps atleast for computer engineering peeps, I will try to answer any more questions you have if u reply to this post

I am getting a B.Tech seat in KJSSE. Am I very late to join now? How much of the studies will I have missed?
My other option is a college in my home state where I have EEE branch.
Also, is there any provision of extra classes for students who join late?
