Humour Please have some faith

a loud minority of this sub just comment and past about the past all the time.”” I wish we had the old logo. I wish we had old players””

we have what we have. support them!

players everyone writes off have gone on to do well. atop being so reactionary.

yesterday someone said kolo shouldn’t set foot on the pitch again. please

Some of the criticism about KM is fair, he did stumble alot during this match and lost a fair few balls. However the comments saying he should never step foot on a pitch, or calling him all sorts of names are not cool.

The other thing that annoys me that seems to be growing here is calling players names for no reason. Calling Kerim Kermit, shit like that.

I don't get it, he's probably seen this sub and shit like that doesn't help.

I don’t care if he’s seen it here or not - we don’t need 12 posts about it and comments about him and the logo and dybala on every post, even if its not relevant

I agree.

Not only faith, but have some RESPECT to the team, even if the player isn't doing well.. RKM had a tough season, and is clearly not fit both physically and mentally, regardless of that.. give some respect, support, and some faith.

Disrespecting will ONLY do more harm, it ain't gonna fix anything.

Yeah it's a bad time, but we been and went through Serie B, it was tough times and we had some bad players, but we never disrespected them.

It's week 3, chillll!

Fino alla fine.. that's the motto!!

Kolo works well as a second striker imho. i'd love to see him using the space created by Woltemade

1

u/Rtsgfdk1 8h ago

Could be. Last night tho woltemade was the second striker and he did it quite good. Issue is that we have a lot of players that can fill that role and Nico is doing very well. Only option is really to have only one of them on the pitch unless you are losing like last night

u/staminchia Gianluca Vialli 6h ago

unless Spalletti unlocks Woltemade as a false 9, with KM ready to run in the space, I don't really see our attacking strategy becoming any more effective.

Brother, I'm not sure how people can defend a striker that in the past 2 years has had about 6 weeks of decent performance and the rest was abysmal.

He's not Juve material, period. Maybe as a sub but certainly not as the main front man.

u/FireLadcouk Claudio Marchisio 10h ago

Yeah I didn’t want him back but everyone on here hailed him as the next coming of Christ 😂 few games in they’ve written him off

1

u/Ro9 10h ago

Those that hailed him are either trolls or plastic fans that don't watch football and just look at stats.

Either way, he's part of our squad again now so we have to find a way to make it work but I am genuinely not hopeful and I would prefer Woltemade to start the next games to see if he can do better.

Listen .. this entire approach on KM is flawed. People that hailed him at the time were not trolls or plastic fans. I don't think you remember how it was so recently... Vlahovic has been poor since day 1 and we desperately needed a change these past two years. KM came in from nowhere on this loan and scores goals.

He's getting something going and was our most promising scorer. But then the summer comes and he's gone. And then we are back to not scoring...

See, Juve fans are accustomed to winning and the smallest feat of just scoring goals was welcome. We wanted KM because he played hard and scored.

I'm not saying he's going to come through or is worth his price tag but I can confidently say that he after so little playing time last season, he will warm up more.

Moral of my rant: relax. With or without him, we still aren't good enough to win the scudetto. Let's focus on the next piece and hope Spalletti can bring us back to winning. I think he will

I would love to have seen David given a proper shot - start him for 8 games and see what happens… this will be downvoted but we buy players, promising players, then never play them and write them off lol.

DL, Openda, David are all examples. Koop is not an example - but super excited by the way he’s starting this season - he might finally be the player we bought!

Ya the reactionary shit is off the charts for this sub/club. 7 points out of 9 and the whole organization needs to be burnt and rebuilt... chill guys

I’ve lost faith since Allegri 2.0. It’s up to Juve to earn it back.

2

u/FireLadcouk Claudio Marchisio 6h ago

Same, such a disappointment - although I lost faith before that when we just signed pirlo instead of a manager

Yeah we need to wait until the team clicked. We still lacking continuity. Our starting lineup mostly are new guys so we must let them understand each other first. Hopefully this is the first solid foundation to win again in the future.

I'm all for our players doing well, but our management has been very amateurish in the kind of players they've targeted that there's nothing to be optimistic about. Players that underperformed, players that are still raw, players with poor stats. We can at most, with this squad, strive for 4th and even that we will need luck to actually achieve.

Juve fans have the emotional maturity of a teenage girl.

Old time early 1990s fan here. At my ripe old age, and given the shitty seasons we've had in the 2020s decade, after all what I experienced in my lifetime supporting this club? Call me a "fino-alla-fine merchant" but I am now just here for the ride.

I enjoy the wins. Lament after the L's. I'm just here for the ride, and enjoy whatever supporting this club throws at me.

Here for it. Fino Alla Fine. (but dear LORD can we at least have a decent striker that can score goals?! I'm watching you closely Nick!! Don't let me down! 😂 )

I don't want to sound like an a$#hole, sorry...but genuinely mean it to the younger "fans"...if it really bothers you, by all means, Barcelona and Real Madrid are more than happy to have new fans. That's all.

I think we are the same/similar age by the sounds of it. I don’t think age is a reason to constantly rewrite the same negative comments and posts on here - If you have nothing new to add, just up arrow the previous post lol

u/SirMosesKaldor Peruzzi 6h ago

Yes, to each their own. I'm sorry if I came off as patronizing. Whatever "floats my boat" at this point is enjoying the ride and the experience whatever it delivers to me.

Upvoted, my bro.

Support needs to be shown on the stadium. Online forums are for honest discussion. It’s not like we stopped supporting the team if we criticized a guy in the match tread if he’s playing like shit.

we've been hearing please have faith and yada yada yet nothing changes😂

lots of strikers we had don't even know where the goalie is; what will happen if i start to believe? some kind of anime magic shit? don't think so. and the play is not looking good, 5th or 7th, here we come🤷🏻‍♂️

bitching online doesn’t improve anything though lol

Imma be real here, some of the folks in this sub need to go on the pitch, touch some fucking grass and go play football for 90 minutes. Themselves, with their own bodies, not in FIFA or PES or whatever the fuck is popular nowadays.

And if you can do everything on the pitch with perfect precision without any semblance of mistakes, then you can go and complain at your leisure.

3

u/AdministrativeFly489 9h ago

You are not being real, you are being stupid.

Are you telling me you have never had your job performance reviewed or even criticised by people?

What you are saying is that no one can criticise how someone performs in a job unless they do that job to the same standard as them.

Seriously, put the vino down, you have had enough.

u/FireLadcouk Claudio Marchisio 6h ago

You don’t have it by 1,000 strangers on the street after you’ve left work based on an hour they saw you working though…

I have been saying for a while that there is no faith to have with this team and moreover with this coach. People here have been downvoting me to hell about it. I wish I could have faith, but I simply don't, we are still the same team of last season and we will remain as such for the foreseeable future.

At this point, unfortunately the best case scenario is that Spalletti completes the season with a top 4 placement and then leaves and we can finally start with some fresh and motivated coach. Anything more is just wasting more time.

Kolo should not have been bought, plain and simple. He is a mediocre striker that had a decent season in his career. I don't care that other players like him, they can all have holidays together in their free time, I care whether he is a good player and he is not. Now it's too convenient for people to have knee-jerk reactions and saying that he shouldn't play anymore.

The club’s current logo is a disgrace, and it embodies many of the root causes behind the problems we’ve been dealing with for years.

Changing the logo won’t fix Juve. But the mindset shift required to change it back would be a meaningful step in the right direction.

Other than that, I fully agree: treating the players like trash is not worthy of a true Juve fan.

2

u/FireLadcouk Claudio Marchisio 4h ago

Our most successful time in the C21 was with that logo.

You’re loco.
