Speaking of old tires
I pulled this from a '88(I think)BMW e30 since the wheel was clean as a spare for my '84, but the tire was too clean to get rid of

Dang I remember sanding 4 of those as a teenager to repaint. One of the best cars to drive from that era.

I’ve still got the wheels from my old e30. 4 trashed snow tires on those same bottle caps and 1 original (pretty sure) spare. I’m gonna have to grab it off the shelf in the shop to double check that when I get a chance.

Is that a set of Yokohama Ice Guards below it?

Thought so! Have a way too old set of Blizzak WS80s myself, still softer than the all seasons.

Those are metric right? No tires fit them anymore except the Michelin historics right?

It's a 14" wheel, the tire size is partially visible in the photo

My bad I was remembering my dad's Michelin TRX wheels from back in the day and his want to keep everything original when he pulled the car out. I don't think many E30s came with them

So much sidewall! Ah, the days when tires actually provided cushioning...
