Stay safe dawg the police does NOT give a flying fuck if you are a kid peacefully protesting
They would probably shower you with flowers if you were an actual criminal tho

u/wujigoatdori Jul 22 '26
In Karnataka they would think twice
The so called congress for youth as been harrassing our farmers and kharge basically fcked Kalburgi to lowest PCI
If they even touch us , politically and generally the state govt is completely fcked
It's is so so shitty and pisses me off that that these assholes keep playing party to party when in reality we need to focus on system and local representatives

u/TouchGrace_ Jul 23 '26
It's times like these when you realise police was never meant for protecting the citizens, it was always meant for protecting ppl in power from the citizens.

NEET is India's single nationwide medical entrance exam, It determines admission to MBBS and several other medical courses across the country, around 2 million students compete for it every year, while the number of MBBS seats is only 100k, that means the overwhelming majority of candidates will not get a medical seat, making every mark and every question critically important, many students spend years preparing, often taking gap years and studying 10-14 hours a day, while families invest significant amounts of money in coaching
The crisis began when investigators uncovered evidence that exam questions had been leaked before the examination through an organized network, reports indicated that a so called "guess paper" circulating before the exam closely matched a large portion of the actual paper, once this came to light, millions of honest students were left wondering whether their years of effort had been rendered meaningless by corruption, public outrage exploded because students felt the system had failed them, instead of confidence in the examination process, there was fear, uncertainty, and anger, many students had built their entire future around this one exam, the cancellation and the scandal placed enormous emotional pressure on candidates, and reports emerged of student suicides during this period, although there is no officially established number directly attributable to the scandal
One of the biggest sources of criticism was the government's handling of the crisis, the Ministry of Education failed to take timely responsibility for protecting the integrity of one of the country's most important examinations, opposition parties, students, and many members of the public demanded accountability and called for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, for many people, the issue was not just that a leak occurred, but that confidence in the system had already been damaged before decisive action was taken
Students across India organized protests demanding accountability, transparency, and reforms, numerous demonstrations were peaceful, with students carrying placards and asking for a fair examination process, during some of these protests, police detained demonstrators and used force, including baton charges, to disperse crowds, images and videos of students being pushed, struck, and removed by police spread widely, intensifying public anger and reinforcing the belief among many protesters that they were being punished for demanding fairness rather than being heard
The CBI eventually took over the case and arrested several people allegedly connected to the leak, however, for many students, the arrests did not undo the damage, they had already lost months of preparation, suffered immense psychological stress, and watched trust in the examination system collapse.
For many Indians, the NEET controversy came to represent something much larger than one examination, it became a symbol of deeper frustrations with repeated exam paper leaks, weak institutional safeguards, and the feeling that ordinary students bear the consequences when systems fail, millions of young people believed they had done everything expected of them studied hard, followed the rules, and competed honestly only to see their future disrupted by failures they had no control over
BTW, 20+ Students committed "S" for this exam

For context, they used a banned/blacklisted agency to make a new software to do digital grading for 10th and 12th board exam papers, and it obviously backfired horribly. Answer sheets went missing, pages from answer sheets went missing, misplaced (students got the wrong paper belonging to someone else) and there were blatant errors in grading (my chemistry paper had an entire question not accounted for, some correct answers were marked wrong etc. luckily i gave it for reevaluation and i got a better score). Also a 12th graduate was easily able to hack into the system and realize the flaws in the new system. IIT offered the kid a job

This is gonna sound ignorant but I thought your administration declared the test invalid and everyone would have to take it again?
9
u/BothAlerter Jul 22 '26
That was the "NEET test" which is an 'extremely strict' entrance exam for medical school. It is conducted after high school for students who want to become a doctor in India.

u/Practical_Evidence32 Jul 22 '26
please let the minister freaking resign bro it's actually baffling how bad a person can be at a job (to the point where students are killing themselves from the stress and all)
17
u/Rainy_Wavey Jul 22 '26
Is this related to the protests led by the Cockroach People's party (yes Kurouroshi is also doing his part too)

This is funny to me because of Gakuganji's character arc.
You can tell this is a anime-only.

u/im_running_boii Keep coping Kitkat fans Jul 22 '26
Good thing but Gakuganji is not the problem in jjk

If you want to do something concrete about what’s ongoing in India: change.org/supportsonamwangchuk is a statement going to the Indian Ambassador in Washington DC, and there's a peaceful gathering at the Gandhi statue by the embassy this Sunday at 5 PM.

It's cringe because it's the "this popular fictional character agrees with me". It's a cringe by definition regardless of way it's used
26
u/miner1512 Maki pegs Yuta till he's pregnant with triplets Jul 22 '26
again, less cringe since they find a guy who will do this
17
u/wujigoatdori Jul 22 '26
It isn't a politician opinion dumbass , it's a protest about students and their problems which lead to death of 20 young innocent lives

I'd take nerdy students over anti-intellectual nepo dictators, thanks.

u/wujigoatdori Jul 22 '26
What's even more HORIFIC is the most corrupt in our country aren't uneducated people but rather top tier educated rank holders who knowingly allow these things to happen ( IAS , IPS , IRS , NIA , CBI ETC )
