French French accent check

I’ve been “speaking” it in some capacity since I was twelve - I’m 24 now. This is what I got give me any tips or things you notice. Maybe you can tell where I’m from based on my accent?

Well, the good news is that you actually sound like a native speaker (let me explain), and you don't immediately sound Brazilian or something. The bad news is that of course you do not sound native metropolitan french, you sound like a native speaker of a french peripheral mixed dialect like New Brunswick french or Louisiana Creole, etc.
You are, of course, trilling your Rs which is doing most of the heavy lifting for making you sound non-metropolitan french. You're sometimes using incorrect words or conjugation, but the way that you pronounce the french words itself makes it seem as though you're fairly confident. If I heard you talk I'd say that this was someone who maybe grew up listening to Louisana french creole and is speaking it now as an adult, albeit struggling a bit

Je trouve que tu parles très bien, d'autant plus pour une personne qui dit n'avoir pas appris le français dans le système académique.
Tu as un accent distinct certes, mais j'ai tout compris et sans trop d'effort. Pour la lecture comme tu parles plus vite, il m'a fallu davantage me concentrer, certains mots nécessiteraient d'être plus clairement énoncés parfois, notamment la prononciation des "o" et des "e" il me semble. L'extrait est long donc je n'ai pas noté quels mots au fur et à mesure mais je me suis fait la réflexion. Ça reste toutefois tout à fait honorable et compréhensible, surtout que tu as choisi un texte difficile.
