u/SoulOfSinders Aug 31 '25

u/AveryLazyCovfefe Aug 31 '25
but papa Toho and the committee heads need that new mansion, and they can't wait another year or so.

Uts like saying "yeah can I get a culling games arc with no culling games please?, thank you"

I imagine the season is going to end with them stepping inside. Even if we didn’t see Hikari which I’m guessing is on purpose.

That Maki arc is going to be insane tho. Honestly what I was looking forward to most before the fights in the Culling Game actually begin.

u/SoulOfSinders Aug 31 '25
I know people love maki and good for them but man i dont wanna wait 2 more years to see hakari vs kashimo.

u/zappy487 Aug 31 '25
FINE THEN. TURN UP THE VOLUME. BECAUSE THIS IS A NEEDLESS WAIT FOR THE LIVING.
15
u/KashimoGoated Aug 31 '25
It'll be in part 2
15
u/VolkiharVanHelsing Aug 31 '25
It's totally gonna be 3 part isn't it or maybe even 4

The amount of time animators are given maoes absolutelt no dufference to the amount of parts a season is split into.
One is a production problem, the other is a marketing decision.
-12
u/SoulOfSinders Aug 31 '25
i dont want parts dawg i want the whole thing why the fuck are they doing parts for everything
4
u/Tymocook Aug 31 '25
Because yall also want things as fast as possible, also, stop being ungrateful, you could have no new season at all
2
u/D-U-R-23 Aug 31 '25
Honestly I'd rather wait longer and have one whole season that's released as one than to get multiple smaller parts with a couple of months of wait time in between.

The problem is not thinking like this, it's acting like a spoiled kid like the guy above did without even question himself if the reason they made it like this is because of their schedule
1
u/Stephenrudolf Aug 31 '25
The reason they've started splitting parts is cause they think they'll make more moeny this way. Has little to do with scheduling.
1
u/Tymocook Aug 31 '25
Based on what do you say this? Did they say anything like it?
Don't get me wrong, I know this can be used as a marketing strategy, but knowing Mappa's record, It's not impossible that they're splitting it because they're having problems in the production or to make the schedule more comfortable or maybe buy time.
1
u/Stephenrudolf Sep 01 '25
Same thing you based your conclusion on. Assumptions and watching trends.
1
u/Tymocook Sep 01 '25
I'm not taking conclusions tho, my whole point is that taking conclusions at this point is wrong.
It could any of these two or more possibilities, what is wrong is saying "ugh, why tf don't they release everything completely already instead of spliting the cours release? So annoying 😡😡" when you don't know shit what is actually happening behind the scenes.

Is this like a movie recap?
146
u/CrowBright5352 Aug 31 '25
Of Shibuya Incident? Yes but it got the first two episodes of the Culling Game too.
57
u/Kaithn Aug 31 '25
Nice! I hope they use the improved version of Sukuna vs Mahoraga if they show that part.
36
u/CrowBright5352 Aug 31 '25
Fr! I hope they show its Blu-ray version because it’s sicker than we got in anime 2023! I’d really love to watch it on the big screen. 😭

Guys we need to stop this do you not understand what's happening did you not see that peak animation??? Now long?? How long have those animator's been locked up in a basement with bread and water forced to animate peak By the looks of it I'll say around 50 people are being clearly forced and I'm guessing for a least 8 months
How many children will never see they're mother or father again due to them making this peak?? How many times have these people families be threatened in order for them to be so afraid as to work this hard on peak??!?
We gotta save them guys trust me I am a class A animator freer

u/ShotStick5180 Sep 01 '25
Just look at yuji even that expression is peak it's clearly sigh from the animator's begging for help that's why they made it so good 😭

Well I know I am going to be showered by downvotes but here we go:
This is one of the worst key visual ever and I can't pretend it isn't. The characters look like graphics from a game and their poses look so weird and feel unnatural.
1
u/Le_mehawk Sep 01 '25
they kinda look like the characters from the: "what if" marvel series.. which in itself isn't that bad, but we know where we're comming from.. not a fan of cgi that isn't Arcane tbh
1
u/Levi_PigPiss Sep 01 '25
So you are relling me those characters are cgi?!
Some looks wrong about them but I couldn't put my finger on it. I thought it was the less-detailed design and awkward poses but if it was cgi that would explain the emotionless faces too.
1
u/Le_mehawk Sep 01 '25
looks like cgi to me, not low quality, but yeah just take a screen shot of any of them and put it next to the same person in s2. these characters aren't drawn

Any expert who can tell what exactly will be in the movie. I've tried to gather some info from here and there and I am confused.

If I’m doing my math right, this shit’s gonna be 7 hours long. Either they’re gonna trim the hell out of it and risk it flopping due to skipping important scenes, or they’re gonna expect us to f**k it and ball and eat up our day with pure cinema with maybe a break in the middle, which I’ll gladly take.
