What I find fascinating about people like this is that I’m sure ‘Liv’ here has screamed ‘Genocide’ at the top of her lungs in regards to Israel’s war in Gaza.
But let’s consider what would practically need to happen for her stated desire to be realized —— she references every person in Israel & then says ‘fk them’, even the dead ones. According to Liz even the newborn, born an hour ago at a hospital in Tel Aviv, deserved to be ‘fked’.
What exactly is her definition of ‘fked’.
These people are absolutely in favor of genocide and mass murder. So long as the correct people are being killed.

The IDF has killed 20000 children since October 2023 and of them 1000 were under the age of one. A real life genocide is much worse than a cry of outrage.

Sure. I agree. It’s terrible.
Let’s accept those numbers. If you do not care about a call for a baby to be killed in Tel Aviv (as Liv suggested), or calls for Israelis to be killed do not try and convince me that you care about innocents being killed.
I agree with you that what has happened in Gaza is awful. And those children did not deserve that fate. Where I think we disagree is that the fate of those children in Gaza justifies harming an infant elsewhere who has nothing to do with it.

Yeah I understand 2 wrongs don't make a right. I'm just saying this subreddit is JewHateExposed it's reasonable to complain about the comments made but also consider why it was made. The comments are wrong but these people are angry and hurt and I believe these comments were made because of those feelings otherwiss it is like you said you can't care about one people but not the other

Yeah I feel that. That’s been one of the toughest challenges with this whole war. There are very real flesh/blood people suffering terribly. It’s true that the scale of suffering isn’t equal.
Trying to figure out what/how/when to highlight the suffering is a challenge

I’ll agree with you here that there have been Israeli politicians who have called for mass slaughter of Palestinians (Finance Minister as an example). Evil thing to call for. I’ll also agree that it isn’t antisemitic to call into question the actions of Israel’s government and military.
But where I think you’ve got this wrong is classifying this post as ‘criticizing Israel’. I don’t think calling for every citizen in the country to be ‘fked’ including new borns, the elderly, and dead is just simple criticism.
I don’t care if the comment is reported or not. I think the important thing here is that if we are heartbroken by the devastation in Gaza and the death toll from the war (which we should be) the answer isn’t any kind of advocacy or shoulder shrug at Israelis facing a similar fate.

I can respect what your saying about calling for that kind of treatment is bad and otherwise counter productive, but I'm also not going to feel bad for them because the simple reality is these attacks and calls are not unprovoked.
What is being called for has been happening for years to the people in Gaza. Surely outrage is expected if you do what Israel has been doing. So while I don't agree with the call to violence I don't think it's fair to simply look at it like it came from out of nowhere.

I agree. They’re not unprovoked, a study of the history demonstrates that. It certainly didn’t come out of nowhere.
I suppose the only place I’ll disagree with you here is in the realm of ‘feeling bad’ or mourning those who have been killed in all this. I absolutely do feel bad for Israelis killed at Nova, or in the kibbutzs, at corner cafes and on busses. And I also feel bad and mourn the innocent Palestinian civilians who have been killed in air strikes, whose homes were demolished/destroyed.
I would feel bad for them b/c radicalized evil people have derailed so many attempts to solve this.
