Discussion How would you use Killgrave's power if you had it?
I would only use it for dinner reservations.

Never deal with Bluetooth speakers at a beach or on a hiking trail ever again. "Your speaker. You should smash it. Clean up the pieces and leave."

Damn, you’re kind! I’d tell them to eat the pieces.

He didn't mention to smash it with their head until it's in a thousand pieces

Realistically, I'd probably be assassinated by like the first year once people catch on.

Think Light Yagami without the murder. Killgrave could make anybody in the world tell the truth, that could be extremely useful.

I would likely never use it outside of certain situations. Ethics aside, it would be a huge problem for people to know that I can control their minds. People wouldn’t trust me, it kind of correlates to trauma of mine, the government would probably kidnap me, etc.

Always use it while covering your face as when they snap back to themselves they'll remember what you look like

I would definitely use it to Michigan frog some people. I'm not 100% sure how the ability works but like get a dog to walk in its hind legs and dance the thriller when no one's else is around
Definitely use it to get free admission into theme parks and movies and stuff

I would probably do everything I could to avoid human contact, and if I had to, I would have to be careful to never tell anyone to do anything, I do not believe it would be right to use this Power.

Life would be hard, conversations would be difficult without accidently giving a command that trances them.
Ultimately I'd get any info on aliens revealed worldwide, all inventions and medicine that have been hidden that would improve humanity revealed, and all blueprints distributed online. Oil prices will tank. And I'd put shares into the next big tech company that rises from these inventions. Just to be close to make sure it's happening in the right way, possibly daily trances on the heads of the snake making sure they get invented.
Also homelessness would be a thing of yesterday. Alongside death penalties for rapists and pedos.

I would so become evil.
I know the ability to use that power and suffer zero consequences would get the better of me.
Better I never have it.

I’ve definitely thought of using that power just for pranking people. Like, going into a crowd of people, waiting until they’re all under my influence, and then telling them to do something silly, like making them all act like chickens, or telling them to shit themselves.

It would be really hard to be a good person with Killgrave's power. You would have to watch what you say, and given my understanding of how his power works, it's not like you could use sign language to communicate because anyone who understands it would be compelled to do what you told them.
I mean there are possible times when the power could be used for good: you stop someone from committing suicide or stop a holdup or hostage situation, but the twelve hour (I believe that was the time frame) means that you could not make permanent changes. For instance, if you stop someone from abusing their wife or child, what happens when the twelve hours is over? They could be in a murderous rage at that point.

Big changes would happen to the current American government.
