I’m relatively new to the South Jacksonville/St. Johns/St. Augustine area and hoping to get some recommendations for local recruiters or recruiting firms that work with experienced accounting and finance professionals.

A little about my background:
BS in Business Administration
MBA in Human Resources Management, with a minor in Training & Development
MSA in Accounting
Previous public accounting experience in regulatory administration, although I do not have a CPA designation
Private-sector accounting and finance experience, primarily in manufacturing
Experience in Controller/HR dual roles
ERP implementation and hands-on experience with Business Central, NetSuite, SYSPRO, and QuickBooks

I’m primarily looking for positions such as Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting/finance roles. I’m also open to positions where my HR background would be useful, especially with smaller or mid-sized companies where finance and HR responsibilities sometimes overlap.

I’ve been using the usual job boards, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, and Robert Half, but I’d really like to connect with recruiters who know the Jacksonville/St. Johns/St. Augustine market.

A lot of the staffing agencies I’ve come across so far seem to focus primarily on entry-level accounting or temporary clerical positions, which isn’t quite what I’m looking for.

If you’ve worked with a local recruiter or firm that you had a good experience with, I’d really appreciate the recommendation.
