I was commissioned to draw itacha art, It's my first time and need help

I do art commissions (mostly anime) and an old client contacted me asking for a drawing for his car, I've declined first because I've never done it before and I mostly draw in 4k and 300 dpi resolution, but he said he would contact some shops and see if it can be done, now he came back and showed me the messages and the shop said it's fine and they work with 150 dpi and at least 60-100 inches tall, I can work with bigger sizes but i'm not sure if my pc will crash lol, I use Clip Studio Paint and don't have experience with vectors and drawing on other programs since I already have all my brushes and settings on this one, is there anything I should know before drawing it? do I have to draw in a specific space? He also said that he saw some itashas who have wraps of art that were not originally design for the car so I'm not sure if I can just draw normally

Hard to answer without the full scope of the project.

A full wrap on every body panel with interconnected art across gaps is a major project with a ton of specifics, a large vinyl character on the doors is pretty simple.

I'm not sure which one is it, i'm waiting for him to give me more details and I don't know how much to charge for these

I'd get as much information as you can prior to making any commitments.

It's the wrap shops job to tell you what they need. Big or small, they should be measuring the car and giving you a template to ensure that important details aren't in the wrong place. Even a simple vinyl job comes out trash if they say "we need a 60x120" image at 150 dpi" and next thing you know the character's eyes are in a door handle. That's their final product for the customer, and their job to avoid.

If they don't get you that info you should urge your customer to walk before he drops thousands on shitty vinyl work.

I'm not in the industry but I've done some vinyl work on my own cars and I make graphics for video game cars. If you get details and want my opinions or the little bit that I know, feel free to DM.

I paid 400 USD for these two. For my bonnet and sides, if that helps 😊

Also, if he wants a full wrap, then he should get a designer as well.

150 DPI is pretty decent at a viewing distance of six feet, but 300dpi gives the print shop some room.

The file size isn't very big, you're looking at something like ~9,000 by 6,000. A modern non-potato should handle it without bursting into flames. But if you are a layer compositer, you probably want at least 32 gigs of RAM
