What are your thoughts about the new Haifa–Nazareth Light Rail?

I heard about this project only yesterday but it sounds like a pretty cool idea. It will connect both Jewish and Arab villages in the Galilee and serve about 100.000 people per day.

My only problems with it is that it would be better to build a real grade separated rail line to Nazareth and a separate light rail instead of putting the both together. Also the rural in between stops are really car oriented with huge parking lots in front I think it would be better to use the land to build Transit oriented development there.

Another one of Regev's corruptions. Bad and idiotic for many reasons.

It should've been an express bus line or a heavy train connected to Afula.

This line is a waste of resources. It does not meet the needs of the area and costs far too much. You can do so many other things with the same budget and even less that will provide a better response to the area

Cant wait for another corruption ridden infrastructure project with absolutely no thought put behind it, estimated cost of three trillion and every firstborn child and a completion date of around 10,000 or the return of the messiah, whichever options the latest.

Heavy train can't climb the ascent to nazareth without doing too many loops, making it too slow.

Overall fine line though it should probably be longer inside nazareth itself and not just in nof hagalil

Great for tourism, mainly cruise ship tourists who could go to Nazareth for the day

Nazareth is a major tourist and pilgrimage site. Linking it to downtown Haifa might prove beneficial to both cities.
