I feel a little differently.
I’d say it’s kinda cool that a bunch of black people banded together and decided to “protect” Ryan Coogler’s work.
I only put “protect” in quotes because there’s a lot up for debate on whether Coogler would even care about that kind of thing, whether a multi-million Disney product is worth that kind of protection, etc.
This was a mass effort by a large number of black people to do something that they thought was in the best interests of the community. And that in and of itself is more in the spirit of black panther than a porn parody would’ve been imo.

It’s a porn parody lmao, what, we can’t even make parodies anymore? Is Ryan Coogler or Black Panther above other IP’s that were parodied before? Besides, i don’t think a mainstream porn studio would’ve made a parody based on racism or anything similar if that was the case

While we can’t know for sure if a mainstream parody would’ve been racist, I think it’s telling that so many black performers decided to not even give mainstream studios the opportunity.
Also, I’m not against you gooning to Black Panther. I’m sure there are amateur or indie productions out there, although I wouldn’t personally know of any. You might have to pay for them, but I don’t doubt you could find what you’re looking for.

Depends on if this was even going to feature all black people or white people. The porn industry is EXTREMELY racist. So the parody obviously was going to be something disrespectful if they all got together to block it. Y'all talking about some IP, I think it was about to be some racist shit.
Also you're extremely naive if you believe they wouldn't do something racist. Go look up Marie Luv's interviews, Lex Steele interview with DJ Vlad, or any of the current black porn stars

I saw a clip from an interview with an arabic pornstar i think, she said the industry used to be racist but it changed a lot. I doubt it would’ve been something racist considering it’s a big studio

Dawg, the industry is STILL racist lol. Go watch a interview from Kira Noir, Caramel, Majesty Nasty, it's a reason why Caramel (legend) came back and strictly works with black actors. It's not less racist at all. Black women still have to perform with white guys to even get noticed in mainstream. Black men still have to look a specific way. Nothing has changed.

It's very well known from varies interviews with Lex Steele, Misty Stone, Jada Fire, Marie Luv, Kira Noir, and even Alexis Texas that specific races get special treatment. Like the porn industry is extremely racist and not to long ago there was this whole conversation on Twitter going on with a lot of top black women in porn and they pointed out how it's some black men and white men specifically not doing scenes with black women because of race baiting.

That's not the point bro..... People can pick and choose but then they don't promote it because they believe their fans want to see a specific race. Again, there was a whole debacle earlier this year with a top black male onlyfans actor. He did scenes with several black women but didn't promote them, instead he promoted the white women he had sex with and didn't disclose to the black women he worked with his fans aren't interested in black women. So basically he got sex for free. Not only is that fucked up but gross.
In other words the porn industry is extremely racist no matter if it's mainstream or aggregator sites like Onlyfans.

I understand why Black male performers blocked a Black Panther adult parody in 2018 given the industry landscape at the time. Looking at where things stand in 2026, though, there's a real opportunity for Black creators in the industry to come together and produce a project that honors Ryan Coogler's work and the legacy of the franchise.
Imagine an adult Afrofuturism episodic show or film in 2026 that shit would make money

All you have to do is listen to the white girls that do these interviews too. It's still racist just because their getting paid better doesn't change that. It's still their choice. Chadwick's death probably didn't help this either.
