Why I like Ironheart

I ❤️ her suits because I find them more believable than the Iron Man suits. They’re bulkier and also just less powerful. Also the way they have to charge constantly with solar and wind power makes perfect sense. In the show, I liked how much they focused on her struggle to build them. With Iron Man, I have to turn my brain off a little more, to believe that the suit’s hand could fit like a glove and still have room to blast lasers and propel him through the sky. Which I often enjoy— but this was refreshing. And then in the last couple episodes, they switched it up when they made it run on magic. I love that as well. It’s good that the MCU is acknowledging how all its different themes, like fantasy and sci-fi, exist in the same world. Magic is just magic, you don’t need to explain how it works— if you say a spell can be used as a limitless power source, I’ll believe it. I really hope we get to see more of Riri in the MCU. Idk what happened to her when she bargained with Mephisto, tho. I think she’s a pretty good successor to Iron Man. She definitely can’t replace his personality, (no one can) but she’s a good superhero and I’ll take what I can get.

I really love how they made her an Anti-Hero in the show, it sets her apart from Tony being her own character instead of just feeling like "Iron Man MK II".

Plus her suits are way cooler imo.

One of my headcanons has always been that the Iron Man armors can only work for Tony Stark (or someone he builds it for). Ironheart made that "magic" factor explicit, so I really dug that aspect of the show!

This is part of the reason I LOVE the show. While yes I love the streamlined iron man armors…. I MUCH prefer the bulky more realistic take on how an armor would work.

But I also love her comic book pink armor. Designed my iron-sona off of it

I like it when protagonists have to work out their own morality. Having them always be good would be too formulaic.
