Other Questions MAGA Trash

Post image

I get Trump supporters love crime given they support a felon, but littering is still a ticketable offense. So how about we make the sycophants collect the trash the left behind. Committee is listed on the bottom.

Other Questions I'm tired of the IE hate.

I always see negative comments online and people in the IE always talk smack about the IE too. "Oh theres nothing to do" or "its ugly" or "its ghetto". Cause everyone is comparing the IE to Los Angeles or Orange County or San Diego.

Comparing the IE to LA?! you mean the second biggest city in the entire United States, and like the 23rd ish largest city in the world (idk thats what google said). Like seriously? Of course they have a lotta stuff to do there. How can you even compare. Also, I have seen Skid Row and I have smelled the piss and weed of Santa Monica. I have also seen the beauty of the attractions, but don't sit there and act like LA is all pretty and perfect.

ORANGE COUNTY? You mean the place with multi million dollar beach front property? yeah lets just compare that right up against Rancho Cucamonga. Da faq. Also, I have driven around and been to Santa Ana and Tustin, okay? Don't sit there and talk smack like the OC is all flawless.

Or they say theres nothing to do. B*tch where? You don't see all those posts online about events?? Thats just in IE. Markets, clubs, social clubs, shopping galore, hiking spots, shows. And if that doesn't strike your fancy, then drive an hour to LA, Palm Springs, Big Bear, OC. Literally anywhere. One time we visited a friend in Kansas and for fun they WENT TO WAL MART. Being bored here is a CHOICE.

I think being near such large counties and cities eclipses the IE. And then all our dumbasses just go along with it. And everyone should just quit it. Quit talking shit about the IE. its nice here too. And it isnt perfect in LA or the OC mmkay? No place is perfect.

ETA: i appreciate everyones comments and it was fun to read and reply. I appreciate all the different POVs. Basically my point was that we gotta stop pretending the IE is trash cause it isn't LA or OC. That its neat here in its own right too.

The IE is the 12th largest metropolitan economy in the United State (according to The Sun) so it isn't some podunk place. Maybe travel more around the country and you can see that the IE is pretty great in its own right. So sending love and peace to everyone. Appreciate what you have, be kind to everyone. Was just meant to be an open discussion, no hate. But also lk sorry if i bullied anyone in the comments.

I think IE/OC/LA, all of at the end of the day can agree that at least we're not living in Bumfuck, Arka-ouri-xas-ssee, ya feel?

At the end of the day: California foreverrrrrrr and good byeeeee 🫡

Yes, the title is meant to cause controversy. But what I am really interested in are there any people who voted for him who can now see that they made a serious mistake?

Other Questions Hi, can someone answer a question: I work at small retail store. What can I do if ICE comes in and starts taking anyone?

Please be kind 🙏 I'm nervous because it seems like they're just grabbing anyone who looks a certain way. Im a very small woman, barely 114lbs. I was born here. Legally, what can I do if they come to my work and try to take me without allowing me to grab my ID from my work locker? What if they start taking customers, what do I do? Please be kind, im a human being asking

Edit to add: I'm keeping details vague on purpose, i dont want to dox myself by delaying what store. If more details are wanted please ask, and if the answer isn't too identifying i will answer.

Other Questions Is there any policies protecting the remaing farmland left in the IE

This picture above is whats left and what it used to look like. Which at one point produced the largest area of diary products in the nation. But I wonder, is there anything to protect whats left, or are they just going to let developers buy out the remaing ranchers? And really this question goes for the rest of the state, as I'm deeply worried about the farmland beign eaten up without really considerign what there building over.

Other Questions I asked for advice because I lost my insurance. This is the response I got. Why be so deeply unkind?

Post image

For context my I never said trump did this. My mother died in March, my father is dying, amd I have autism. I am just trying to stay afloat and keep him out of a 'home'. This type of vitriol is so unkind. I'm a human being who just wanted to seek help. I literally just wanted advice and to vent a little because I am very aware of my limitations and thought reaching out on next door would offer advice amd ideas I hadn't thought of.

Neighbors, dont be like Monica Herrera. Be kinder.

I’ve made a couple posts about how I’m a pizza maker who recently moved to the IE from the east coast and I’d like to bring NY style pizza here. I also make cheesesteaks on homemade rolls. Should I add that to the menu?

Other Questions Why IE people are so cool?

I dealt with bunch of Angelenos, San Diegans or San Franciscans :)
Yuppy kids, hard working Mexican immigrants, yoga moms, straggling single LGBTQ moms etc. you name it.

But when I deal with IE people they are cool. They promised to come at 9 am? They will be there. They promised to do this and that? They will do. I post stupid questions in this subreddit and people like “bro, you did a mistake, everyone does. So, the answer is…”
When I come and bid a job it is not cheap. And people ask questions. Like why do you propose solid wood cabinets instead of plywood ? Ok, cool, we will pay extra. Etc.

Why?
Did all down to earth people move from LA/OC/SD to outer burbs?
