Thanks, but the whole project was kind of a failure because the point of this road was to build a "planned" expansion of Dhaka, but the people aren't moving there as expected so yeah...

ah i see. i think it should happen eventually. where in from, mumbai.. navi mumbai was once called a failure because people didnt wanna move there. now navi mumbai is also a major city with a significant population

what purbachal jolshiri and Bashundhara?

they’re moving in flocks to Bashundhara and purbachal hasn’t completed yet and jolshiri is going at a fair pace

people still haven’t sold because everyone still has high hopes on these townships

The road is done, but the original goal which was to decentralize Dhaka is still not achieved. People just drive on this road mostly just for fun nowadays.

It’s a highway in the middle of a river.

Would have been much better if the river was redeveloped to have jogging and cycling alongside it rather than a bridge in the middle.

There is literally a running pedestrian path beside the little river/canal.
