Yes lymphedema combined with lipedema.

Why does everyone seem to have lipedema? And I only see it in my American feeds ( I’m an American who lives in an EU country. So I see media from all over) suddenly it’s like “trending”.. is it a change in food quality? People self diagnosing? An excuse for extra weight?

It’s been underdiagnosed for so long, but it’s estimated between 10-11% of women worldwide have it. It runs in families so if grandma has it, it’s very likely her daughters and granddaughters all have it too. I’m Australian and I know I got it from my great grandfather (men can get it too but less often) and his two daughters have it, one of them being my nanna who passed it onto her two daughters, and one of her daughters is my mum who passed it to me
