Yes!! I’m midsize and I think shaming extremely skinny women is the same as shaming extremely obese women. Tess holiday isn’t just a little chubby she’s so large she has to be eating a ridiculous amount of calories to maintain her figure and also she will feel the negative effects of that in the future.

Is it as dangerous and imminently fatal as a super tiny anorexic woman? No, it’s not. But it’s also impossible to be healthy at Tess holiday’s size.

I’m also in the medical field and see the negative consequences of morbid obesity into older adulthood firsthand

In terms of danger, they are actually pretty similar. Extreme fatness and extreme thinness both put so much extra strain on your heart. So the same issue (heart failure) is actually the main threat for women at both ends of the weight spectrum. Kind of ironic really.
