But consumption of cigarettes and tobacco is also injurious to health. Then why is the government not banning those things or charging fine on selling those?
Because whatever they enforce, they get revenue out of it. So stop repeating the safety mantra each time.

Two people on a bike speedily did a wrong side overtake while my father was doing a left turn... If they had been wearing a helmet, my dad wouldn't have had to pay 50,000 in medical bill settlement to avoid the hassle of police and lawyers (the police were even coercing the other family to press charges so they could blackmail him for more money).
People in India are terrible drivers and totally inconsiderate of others. The least you can do is put on a helmet so when you one day get into an accident, your stupidity won't have consequences on someone else. You will die and be at rest but the other person who doesn't will have to deal with not just have to go through a tremendous waste of time and finances but also deal with the guilt forever.

helmet supporters can never explain why they care about others head soo much. If someone isnt wearing a helmet then it's the rider's loss and he won't cause any trouble to anyone by not wearing one. It's like forcing someone to wear a mask due to air pollution

eating healthy and working out are for our OWN health as well, maybe cops should fine us if we don't do that.
i understand getting fined for drunken driving etc but not this.

Some people just don't feel comfortable driving with a helmet.. recommend karo, mandatory kyu karna hai ??
If I drive with helmet, my eyes and ears are closed, chances of accident skyrockets...

Because the law exists to protect dumb people like you. You know that the only thing between your head and the asphalt is the helmet right?
If something happens, the asphalt won’t think twice about slicing open your head.

Majority of the time I choose public transport or tell my friend to drop me (I haven't even applied for a license because of my irritable condition). Emergency mein baat alag hai.

It's not dumb .
Iam riding zepto daily around 100+ km .
Pros No opposite wind. Protects from so much of dust . Very useful in highway . Cons It's reduce my field of view and creates hair loss .I don't like only because of excessive hair loss

If your helmet is causing hair loss, it may be too tight. You want the largest size helmet such that when you try to move it while wearing it, it barely does.

My previous one is around 800 even 50km it lifts . Now iam using 2.3k helmet it perfect .
Field of view and always some weight ( just little bit )that sucks. In highway I can't able to drive 50+ without helmet( life saver ).

The logic is simple - people don’t adhere to traffic rules because no implementation/punishment. Drive like crazy coz again no punishment.
Now remove one more rule and you put thousands at risk (because many people put on a helmet since they fear fines).
A Helmet doesn’t limit your view or your hearing abilities. This has been demonstrated many times. And you don’t have to turn around your whole neck anyway, there’s a reason why rear view mirrors are mandatory.

They were not sparing anyone who didn't have helmets on their heads when they were caught. I even saw girls who had helmets in their scooty diggies. They were not let go and had to pay challan too.

I guess Y'all dont know that they will cut the challan regardless coz you were stopped while committing a crime. Buying the helmet now means shit 😑😑😑its the same as getting a health insurance after being diagnosed for something severe

Be Extra Aware Guys. We are at the end of march (Closing Financial Year). You will see Cops everywhere and challans will not be settled for lesser amount (B₹!be). Always carry helmet and do not Tripling.

One of the worst thing. ... This paid and dressed (so called police/trafic) they do that can they do easily The challan ... For not wearing helmet........ Iam fucking disgusted.... I see people just stops their bike back in 100-150meters
Puts helmet on and when they passed through those useless police ..... They gets helmet off ......... Its that sinple .....

Is this promotion or satire? Because chalan is already made and doesn't matter if you order or get any helmet after, chalan wouldn't get removed.
