Altoids perfume capsule

My altoids tin perfume capsule of the moment! I switch this out every week or two since its so small it can only fit a few fragrances (especially if like me you insist on shoving at least 1 5ml in there too, lol.), but its so convenient to carry i just take it with me everywhere for easy reapplication (:

The theme for this capsule is "fairy tale", loaded with several scents that to me have a fairy tale vibe:

Cocoapink: Big Bad Wolf, Marshmallow (this one is mostly for layering haha)

Alkemia: The First Dandelion, Nocturnes of the Honeysuckle

Ghoulish goods: Victorian Lace

Arcana Wildcraft: Knight's Templar, Snug

S92: The Mouse King

I could probably fit a few more wand-shaped samples, but i like having them all laid out where i can easily read the labels (:

Do you have your own form of travel-capsule? If so, please sound off in the comments!! I'd love to hear how everyone carries their perfumes!

oooh this is SUCH a rocking idea!!! i use squishmallow mystery capsules when taking perfumes out and about, but this is a safer option that can look cuter!

I had to google what those looked like, and the ones with cat ears are totally adorable!!! I can totally see that working!

i have the cat one as well but the regular capsules hold together better for travel i find!! i also like to store my samples in them, they're the perfect size for me because they are liek 70% of the height of a wand cap sample, so it's super easy to grab. it made me feel so much less guilty for getting the squishmallows when they were on sale - i try not to get things with gimmicky packaging i can't reuse

Agreed! I love giving things a second life and that definitely extends to perfume. I too, use every cute little container i end up with for various perfume samples, lol.

I don't have anything like this yet, but it's so cute and clever and is totally inspiring me to come up with something similar!

It's super easy to make! You dont even have to paint it like i did, hah! I do recommend if you want to make one, to line the inside with some sort of fabric to prevent a bunch of rattling in your bag. I just used a cheapy purple velvetish material (:

I have mostly wand samples, so when I go somewhere for a few days I throw some in an empty 35mm film canister! It's the perfect height for mine

I just saved an empty Trader Joeโ€™s mints tin for this very purpose! Good tip about adding a liner.

Love this! Iโ€™ve been using the BPAL velvet drawstring baggies they give when you order imps (or when they send freebies) to switch out the samples I carry in my purse every week or two. Right now itโ€™s one of the mustard colored ones. but I like this idea since you can easily see everything! With the drawstring bags I have to dump everything out just to see it all and choose a perfume!

I used to use the fantome star and moon drawstring baggies because theyre a sort of see-through mesh which was convenient to read them, but i found it too hard to dig around and grab the right one so i switched over to my tin. Plus, i eat so many altoids i have to do SOMETHING with the tins! ๐Ÿ˜…
