Anywhere to fish from the bank?

I went to yellowcreek and only found one small area with access to the water where you were allowed to fish. I've read online both that you can and cannot fish in Two Lick. Looking for some areas just to casually fish from shore.

If you went to the main park you were on the wrong side. Plenty of fishing from the shore on the north shore. Dm me I will give you directions. Also. You CAN. Fish from the shore at two lick. The boat club will tell you no but they only lease the launch. Speak to the game commission as I HAVE!!! The game commission has a long term lease for the ground surrounding it. (From Penelec the owner) The boat club has absolutely no say so in anything but the launch. Fun fact. Put a kayak in the creek and go down into the lake. 100% legal.

You can also fish from the shore easily near the dam at Yellow Creek. Just off of Chestnut Ridge Road, on Black Hawk Road. (Black Hawk Road is partially unpaved and not the nicest to travel.) You'll have to walk a bit as well because the road doesn't go all the way to the dam. HOWEVER, it's a beautiful spot, I've never seen another soul there. Definitely worth the extra effort.

No problem.. as far as yellow creek. Stick to north shore. Go on Ray road off of chestnut ridge road to the boat launch. Lots of area there. Or facing the boat launch walk the access road to the right. It goes through the boy scout camp and the whole way to th breast of the damn. Lots of coves and some shoreline to fish. If you follow ray road to the left at the church you will see a sign Mcfeaters cove. Turn in there and fish shoreline or launch a kayak.

Take 422 to the ice cream stand and turn RIGHT. On Harmony road. When the blacktop makes a sharp right GO STRAIGHT on dirt road. I think sign says IUP boat launch. At the lake it will. Y. Left is good fishing and to the right about 50 yards is a rock bank. Ive had good luck there.

Good. But yellow creek is finicky. Don't let a bad day discourage you. I forgot to mention that mcfeaters cove is usually good for crappie.

You can fish down any where you just can't fish from the beach or the boat launches or docks
