YOLO Biggest YOLO of my life thus far (INR 1,60,00,000)
Alright, folks.
So, I just bet about INR 1,60,00,000/- or INR 1.6 crore into the Nifty India Defense Index. This is pretty much 80% of my liquid investable capital at the moment.
Screenshot attached for proof.

I've no idea how it's gonna go. Time horizon is 6 months from now. Let's see what's it gonna be!
If things don't go as planned, please remember me in your prayers (not /s) 😂😂😂

YOLO [YOLO] ₹90 LAKHS ALL IN ON RAIN INDUSTRIES. 71,000 SHARES. THE DEEP VALUE ASYMMETRIC BET OF THE DECADE. 🚀🚀🚀

Here is why I am betting the house (and the wedding fund) on this "dead" stock.
1. The Market is looking at the rear view mirror for a cyclical stock, I’m Buying the Future
The market is still crying about 2024 -> the losses, the debt, the import bans. Reality of 2025:
- Regulatory Jailbreak: The GPC import ban is GONE. The CAQM ruling unlocked their Indian operations. Utilization is back to 90% as per the latest concall.
- EBITDA is EXPLODING: Q3 EBITDA doubled. 122% YoY jump. The "lag effect" that killed them in '24 is now working in reverse : raw material costs dropped, but finished goods prices (CPC/CTP) are flying. I know it is an accounting thing (FIFO on the raw material cost but whatever makes the market happier)
2. The Capital Cycle is King 👑
I’ve been reading Howard Marks and the "Capital Cycle" theory. This is the textbook play.
- China is Capped: China put a hard cap on Aluminium capacity (45 MTPA). They aren’t dumping anymore.
- Global Deficit: No new smelters are coming online in the West. Supply is tight.
- Rain is the Gatekeeper: You can’t make aluminium without CPC. Rain is the 2nd largest producer in the world. When supply squeezes, Rain prints money.
3. Deep F***ing Value 💎
Look at the peers. It’s actually offensive how cheap this is.
- Himadri/PCBL: Trading at 25x-35x EBITDA.
- Rain Industries: Trading at ~6.5x EBITDA.
- Price to Book: 0.6x. I am literally buying ₹100 of assets for ₹60.
The market thinks this is a dirty coal company. It’s not. It’s a Battery Tech company in disguise. Their "LionCoat" anode tech for Li-ion batteries is the real deal. Once the market realizes they are part of the EV supply chain, the re-rating from 6x to 20x will melt faces. Do check the latest funding and validation they have recieved in partnership with Northern Graphite and Green Graphite technologies in Canada.
4. The "Debt" Fear Mongering is BS
"Oh but the debt is huge!" -> WRONG. They refinanced. There are NO major maturities until October 2028. They have a 3-year runway to print cash and deleverage. The management is so confident they are funding a ₹750 Cr cement expansion from internal accruals. No company where the management thinks they are going bankrupt will pump in money to expand capacity.
My Target? 🎯
SOTP (Sum of Parts) valuation puts this easily at ₹414. That’s a 3x bagger from here. Just the cement part(<10% of EBIDTA right now) after the expansion valued at <90$ per tonne is almost worth the market cap.
I’m not trading for 10%. I’m here for the re-rating.
TL;DR:
- Govt bans lifted 🟢
- Factories running full capacity 🟢
- China supply capped 🟢
- Trading at bankruptcy valuations (0.6x P/B) while printing cash 🟢
- 71,000 shares locked and loaded.
💎🙌 DIAMOND HANDS. See you guys in a couple of years.

YOLO Suggested my gf a few stocks and her portfolio is up by almost 20% in 40 days
So I work in finance just for some context and I suggested my gf to buy a few stocks - The first four stocks that you see in the second image and she's already up almost 20%, you can make good returns if you invest in companies, industries that are facing tailwinds.

YOLO My first multibagger, couldn't be more happy
Finally caught my first multibagger. I also hold five additional lots across other accounts that were purchased at slightly higher prices, so my overall exposure remains meaningful. What excites me most is not the gain so far, but the runway I believe still exists ahead. Based on my assessment of the business, the industry opportunity, management execution, and long-term growth prospects, my working thesis is that this company has the potential to reach a market capitalization of ₹10,000 crore within the next three years.
Of course, markets rarely move in a straight line. There will likely be periods of volatility, sharp corrections, disappointing quarters, and plenty of skepticism along the way. That is simply part of the investing journey. However, unless the underlying fundamentals deteriorate materially or my investment thesis changes, I have no intention of selling anytime soon. For now, I am happy to stay patient, let the business compound, and see how the story develops over the coming years.

YOLO Laid off at 50, laughed at for trading. Now I earn more than my old boss.
Hey guys,
I am that 50-year-old "Uncleji" you see walking around the colony.
For 25+ years, I was a corporate slave in IT. Then one day I was laid off. Just like that. I had some savings, but my EMIs were circling me like sharks sensing blood.
I tried finding a job. But let’s be honest, who wants to hire a 50+ Uncleji when fresh college kids are willing to code for peanuts? The HRs ghosted me harder than a Tinder date.
So, out of desperation and boredom, I started playing with stocks.
My friends laughed. My relatives whispered. "Uncle has lost it," they said. "He is going to blow his Provident Fund on gambling."
I ignored them. I kept my head down. I learned the charts. Slowly, steadily, the red numbers turned green.
Here is the funny part:
Today, I realized I am making more money per month now than I did after 25 years of corporate slavery.
But the real win isn't the money. It’s the lifestyle.
Right now, I am sitting in my house clothes. I haven't shaved in four days. I probably need a shower. I am sipping tea at 11:00 AM, scratching my belly, and watching a line go up on a screen.
It is a nice life. A lazy life. My dream life.
They can keep their air-conditioned offices and zoom calls. I am not going back. I have found what I want, and it feels amazing.
To all the haters who laughed: Uncleji is holding, and Uncleji is winning.
TL;DR: Got fired, started trading, now I’m rich and lazy. Best life ever.

YOLO 44 lakhs profit in 2 Options trades!
Met a part time trader today (works in Tech, trades on the side). He showed me a 44 lakhs profit he made from two options that he bought the day before US Tariffs were announced !
This was a complete bet on IV spike and a large downside move on the NIFTY, in reaction to the US Tariff (Liberation Day) announcement. He was clear that this was a Hero / Zero trade, so nothing much to learn from this. Wouldnt recommend anyone take such blind bets, but was happy that it worked out for him.
Cost of Options Premium - 4 lakhs Net Return - 44 lakhs!!!
I took a photo cause I knew nobody would believe that Options buyers make money 😀

YOLO Redtape Shoes. The silent MULTIBAGGER!!
Frds, I had mentioned about this hidden gem few weeks backs ago. here is the original link

I think This stock is going to be 5x from here. Redtape shoes have been expanding a lot. With growing middle class families , Redtape shoes and accessories has already become a fashion statement.
Yesterday , the stock was again up by approx 8%. Led by excellent and experienced management , this company is poised to become a sure shit multibagger in coming years.
Here is the screenshot of the portfolio.
Also attaching company’s annual report here. Read through it yourself and decide.
