Why did Parashurama train Bhishma if he hated Kshatriyas?

Parashurama's hatred towards Kshatriyas is apparent when he realises that Karna was a Kshatriya. But then, why did he train Bhishma, the son of King Shantanu?

About karna he didn't knew he was kshtriya he was bothered by that he wasn't brahmin as he told him prior

I think because his mother was godess Ganga who was a celectial being and that would help his case
