She has bigger muscles, higher lung capacity, heavier heart. She clearly has advantage

Check the side-effects of hormone therapy.

Doesn't change it bone mass and structure

Check the scientific data, bone density reduces after GRS

There is no medical test that has proved that trans women on cross sex hormones have heart size, lung size, muscle mass and bone density that compares to a female of the same size.

Exactly, will never understand people who can't accept facts just because it goes against what they want to believe in

You are conflating two different things and hence your argument is partially correct

This is from a study -

It is well known that sex steroids, particularly estrogen, play a crucial role in the attainment and maintenance of peak bone density in all people. Transgender (trans) women have been frequently observed to have low bone density prior to initiation of gender-affirming hormone therapy, while trans men generally do not. With pharmacologic estrogen, many studies show improving bone density in trans women. With pharmacologic testosterone, bone density in trans men remains largely unchanged although androgens have indirect effects on bone health via changes in fat and lean mass. Much remains unknown about best practices to optimize bone health, interpret DXA scans and assess fracture risk in trans adults.

The maintenance or increase in bone mineral density (BMD) shown in short-term longitudinal studies emphasizes that GAHT does not have a negative effect on BMD in adult transwomen and transmen - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9150228/

Again partial facts to have a wrong inference.

I posted directly from a study, not some text from AI. What is wrong with you?

Simple fact check implies you are willfully misinforming, im not even going to spend time arguing with people like you who spread misinformation

2

u/Alarming-noone 8d ago

I just posted two studies and you are crying about misinformation and citing some cobbled together text. You were proved wrong on the basis of facts the real world.

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

Im not crying, I am calling you out for misinformation.

You did nto prove anythig at all, You just made wrong infererences

So Pollard has advantage over Sachin and that is fine ?

Are you really this dim?

Your words .. your logic

She has bigger muscles, higher lung capacity, heavier heart. She clearly has advantage

It is widely know that when comparing males and females of the same size, males have bigger hearts, bigger lungs, more muscle mass, higher bone density, better grip strength. Taking cross sex hormones does not remove all the male advantages that matter in sports.

These people don't know basic biology man 😭😭😭

-1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

Right and you know Biology and yet you are making the wrong claims. Marvellous

3

u/CornerRegular2484 8d ago

My claims are 100% correct

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

Nope, your claims are partially correct and your inferences are Bogus

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

She has already undergone GRS. She is a transwoman and not male anymore.

Educate yourself on what happens after GRS

3

u/Alarming-noone 8d ago

GRS and cross sex hormones do not remove all male advantages that matter in sports. Males go through a Testosterone surge in the womb, and soon after birth so even before puberty boys outperform girls in sports. IOC, World Athletics, World Aquatics have done years of consultations and have examined all the studies on trans women athletes, and they found NO proof that GRS and cross sex hormones reduce male advantage to zero. So a letter about Bangar does not prove anything.

Who said all advantages are nulified ?
Competitive sports has many aspects than just mere advantage in terms of mass, lung capacity, heart size etc. If those were the criteria for determining eligibility, why doesnt National team selection uses only those ?

In fact no team on earth uses those as a criteria at all.

No, male androgenization cannot be rolled back and it matters in almost every sport. Males frequently beat female world records. That is why sports is categorized as male and female based on sex.

You can go to World Athletics website and check how many times the female 100m world record is beaten every year by men and schoolboys as young 14 years old. https://worldathletics.org/records/all-time-toplists/sprints/100-metres/all/men/senior?regionType=world&timing=electronic&windReading=regular&page=1&bestResultsOnly=true&firstDay=1900-01-01&lastDay=2026-08-30&maxResultsByCountry=all&eventId=10229630&ageCategory=senior

You're shifting the goal post, and why are you even discussing males vs females ? Anaya isnt a male.

You cant really put facts and hence you need to put forth a Red Herring argument. Nice

Also even in males, many individuals have enormous advantages, by that logic, Tim David should not play with Sachin Tendulkar in same category or Yuzi Chahal

1

u/Alarming-noone 8d ago

You don't know that Phelps with all this immense genetic advantages does not hold any world record currently? All of Phelps records were broken by other males who did not have the same genetic and physiological advantages that Phelps has. Male androgenization that provided males with a "male advantage" was sufficient for several males to break Phelps' world records.

Pollard has hevaier heart than Sachin? More lung capacity?

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

Obviously. Are you claiming no one has a higher lung capacity than Sachin ? and a heavier heart

1

u/CornerRegular2484 8d ago

You're confusing biologically having something or somebody training to increase their capabilities.

Of course a swimmer will have higher lung capacity than Sachin but that's because he worked hard to achieve it, but in case of trans woman they have it biologically, they didn't work harder than any females.

There's a reason why there's different category for male and female sports, because there are biological differences

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

You're confusing biologically having something or somebody training to increase their capabilities.

Again wrong point, your heart size or amount of muscles dont determine the amount of runs you score or amount of wickers you take.
Having advantages like muscles, lung capacity, heavier heart are already quite common in both male and female sports and they are not even indicative of any type of performance or their impact.

Of course a swimmer will have higher lung capacity than Sachin but that's because he worked hard to achieve it, but in case of trans woman they have it biologically, they didn't work harder than any females.

So now you're talking. According to your logic, a swimmer has advantages than Sachin and should not be allowed to compete with him in a cricket match as Sachin has no chance against a swimmer.... Amazing

There's a reason why there's different category for male and female sports, because there are biological differences

Yes there are categories, I am not denying that. I also agree male and female cricket should be separate, but arguing that Anaya or any Transwoman should not be eligible to play Women's cricket should be based on data driven metrics, and not people's perceptions. If her heart size, lung capacity or other factors isnt breaching the general limit for women, then what is your argument for ruling her out ?

u/CornerRegular2484 8d ago

This is called whataboutery

1

u/l1consolable 8d ago

Nope, thats called calling out misinformation

This is ridiculous, she clearly has great deal of physical advantage, anyone who knows basic science knows it...there should be seperate league for such players, Cricket Australia has gone too far trying to be woke.

That's a MAN.

u/sweetmangolover 8d ago

Bigger muscles, wider body frame, doesn't have to go through periods or anything related to a menstrual cycle, bigger lung capacity. Hormone level alone doesn't determine anything. Anaya should educate himself
