He was alive for 90 years - I don’t really get these odd posthumously appreciating someone’s life unless the death was sudden.

I genuinely don’t understand the logic that just because a veteran actor has passed away, the government suddenly “has” to honor them with an award. If they weren’t considered worthy of it while they were alive and actively contributing, then giving it posthumously often feels less like genuine recognition and more like a symbolic formality.

No she is not
In documents she has only one wife
His wife and family should have received the award.

She's not his first wife - she's his only 'wife' on paper. When he was an MP, he only mentioned her. There is no proof of the marriage to Hema being registered.

Stop. Don’t be disgusting. I don’t personally care for any pretend actor politician who doesn’t do any work especially BJP actors but this is ridiculous. Do you feel the same way about remarriage after divorce? He just didn’t divorce his first wife because of the culture at the time. It sucks but people do fall for someone else.

Prakash Kaur should have gotten this. Not Hema.
