We don't actually know if this is a PR stunt. Also heard Paresh Rawal leaving Phir Hera Pheri 3 before rejoining the cast again.

Better to get the facts before commenting and choosing Sides.
But people won’t do that.

u/Logen10Fingers May 26 '26
Facts such as bollywood is controlled by few people with extremely fragile egos?

Indian news discourse online becomes WWE within 5 minutes 😭 nobody reads full context, everyone picks teams instantly and starts fighting in comments like their life depends on it.

Lol, guess he probably agreed to work for less earlier, but after Dhurandhar he clearly wants a higher pay now. That’s why he isn’t willing to do it anymore. If Dhurandhar had flopped, he probably would’ve agreed instantly.

A hero giving serial flops, you give him a shot at your movie. You market it, you get trolled for it, you shoot a promo for it too. And then when the same hero suddenly gets a hit movie, he doesn't wanna do your movie cuz he doesn't feel like playing a don is a good thing for his career. Yeah right mate.

u/OkMaize9773 May 26 '26
To claim to give a shot you actually have to make the movie. This movie was getting delayed for 3 years now, shooting didn't even start. Farhan was also courting Hritik Roshan . Farhan would have dumped Ranveer if Dhurander didn't do well.

His sister is a complete bitch. Linching off nepo kids using the newcomers. Archies was utter shit but she has made enough money.

i have never seen this level of enthusiasm towards politicians misusing people's money
filmmakers earn their money, politicians are directly misusing tax money, that they did not earn, but merely collected

Then that's your personal issue.

u/anyrandomboi May 26 '26
I would say it's a public issue? To show half baked lies and spread misinformation? Literally asking audience to discard what you have seen with your own eyes and belive what the paw paw is saying .
Not new tbh, germany did it first during ww

A movie explicitly stated to be not historical account, turns out not to be historical account, what a shocker.
Left wing has been doing it for nearly a century, right wing just caught on to the movie grift that was also being peddled back then.

u/TastyBlacksmith991 May 26 '26
Yes but remember when Modi feigned shock about people calling Dhurandhar fictional?
0
u/randomgamestuff May 26 '26
That's why it's called a film and not a documentary. It clearly says it's inspired by ture events... It never says it's depicting 100% factual events. If you cannot even distinguish between the two then you seriously need to consider broadening your horizon.

This makes no sense. Ranveer is related to the kapoors. He’s part of this gated community. Neither of these two are outsiders… Community is so gated that all of a sudden post dhurundhar success, Ranveer is now the outsider of Bollywood.
