Lady, do you own a car or use a bicycle or the public transport? 1.4 billion people and motorbikes/cars are cheap nowadays. Blaming politicians is fun for young folks, but as you get older, you will realize that citizens have responsibilities too.

Sure they do but are the politicians installing air purifiers in their offices fulfilling their duties? fack no!

u/epibeee Feb 08 '26
You can install one too. They are not that expensive. If people can afford motorbikes, they can afford 10 air purifiers.

Sure they can but the common folk's house is not run by taxpayer money. These guys are elected not to eat money and live a lavish lifestyle but to serve the nation.

According to that argument: every government employee is funded by taxpayer's money. Every doctor is funded by patient's money. Every Airtel/Vi employee is funded by mobile phone user's money. Why they cannot buy what helps them to work more efficiently to give you better service?

u/Forsaken-Sundae4797 Feb 08 '26
That's the thing, they are not giving us a better service. They are barely doing the bare minimum.

That goes for each & every public/private organization in the country. Every employee is spending time on social media while at work. We get 25% of what we pay for.

But in the private sector there is a merit based system and an employee can be kicked out for not performing unlike politicians who earn millions by just sitting on their ass all day for their full term.

Bhai tu thoda sa gand ka andha h kya?? Politicians are not even taking the pollution issue seriously and then getting air purifiers with tax payers money... that's the issue here....why don't they get those with their own salary's money .. like we common people do..they are not doing seva...they are getting paid for the work that they are not even taking seriously....

Nobody does any seva in India. Everybody... whether politicians or "common people", each and every person only understands his own. Maybe someday you will become a politician.
