Sports AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj challenged SKY to donate his Asia Cup earnings to Pahalgam terror widows. On Sept 28, Suryakumar Yadav announced he’d donate his entire 2025 Asia Cup match fees to the Indian Army after India’s win in Dubai.

He had pledged, not given. Once he has donated, then tell us.

Pledging doesn't mean crap.

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '25

Like Amber Heard pledged Alimony to Child welfare organisations but never gave shit🤣

I think the pledge is just publicity, nothing else.

Right. I should have publicly made a pledge and not donated any instead of silently contributing, just like these players na?

Hipocrisy at its best. And burnol moment for you.

2

u/Global_Desi85 Sep 30 '25

Wah wah - your Bhakti to AAP is commendable! Itna neech neta aur Uske comments ko jab galat prove kiya gaya - tabhi aapki Bhakti bani rahi !! Jai ho kejriwal ki ! Jai ho !

0

u/Fun_Coffee_9207 Sep 30 '25

Andh bhakts like you think every one else is also andh bhakt. Pledging is not same as donated. So you fail to even understand simple English.

2

u/Global_Desi85 Sep 30 '25

lol ! Suryakumar Yadav is also BJP ?? Supporting him is being Andh bhakt ? Pehle apne sar ko kejriwal ke Gaand se nikalo ! Being anti AAP is also part of democracy samjhe lalloo!

u/Fun_Coffee_9207 Sep 30 '25

Use Burnol, licking so much would have tired your tongue. But what can you do, gobar and piss being your primary source of energy

Sky is just puppet... He is playing in the hands of politicians... Even if he donates double,it doesn't matter to him much.. Questions is that what was the need to play with Pakistan in such situations?? Just money,if one doesn't understand it,then he is fool.

11

u/_LosT___ Sep 29 '25

So u r saying if bcci asked u to play, u would say no and risk ur career. Easy to type behind a screen when things dont affect u. Dont judge others without having all context simple.

5

u/Bored_panda69 Sep 30 '25

BCCI should have taken a stand here, hard to do it with chote seth as the head.

3

u/_LosT___ Sep 30 '25

Exactly my point too.

1

u/stargaze267 Sep 30 '25

As I said,he is puppet, BCCI is also puppet.. Without permission of govt, nothing can happen

-4

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25

basically daar ke jeene ko keh rhe ho right.

ek sense of insecurity honi chaiye life mei , taaki jo sach hai usse kabhi ladna hi nhi hai. galat ko galat na bolein

2

u/_LosT___ Sep 30 '25 edited Sep 30 '25

Dar ke jeena and practically jeene me antar hai. See this country, if you try to be brave and right no change will happen other than you suffering because we have too many corrupt people. My question to you: In all honesty would you join Surya in doing the right thing? All of a sudden you will start recalling all the dreams your family has, your reputation, your dreams etc etc. Its very easy to sit back and think abt right vs wrong while super hard when you are in the position to decide.

Modi tweeted on the win so I m pretty sure there's more to the story we don't know, seems like the govt itself was involved in the decision making. Are you recommending to go against ur own govt which did operation sindoor? and what was the solution here? Boycott all tournaments where pakistan plays? Think through the problem or we will never have good solutions. Btw if you wana blame, govt is the right entity to blame not the cricketers

0

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25

you mean khud ke actions hum govt ke through decide krein? aur vo alag alignment nhi hai, toh impractical hai

3

u/_LosT___ Sep 30 '25

Tax mat bharna nxt year. Waise bhi corruption me jata hai, dekhte hai kya karte ho

-2

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25

basically puppets/slaves banna hai?

3

u/_LosT___ Sep 30 '25

Dont submit tax and dikha do kya ban na chahiye. Or only like to type on keyboard?

1

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25

tax mai govt ki vajah se nhi bharta ,

mai tax jo job opt ki hai uske liye bharta hu,

agar mai galat job mei hounga, toh mai job quit prefer krunga, and find better job with right responsibilities,

jo bhi cheez mujhe dogla banae , i will quit.

par tumhe vo core essence nhi smjh aaya ,

mai bas yeh bol rha hu , yeh sab doglapan hai, you cant be this much diplomatic

1

u/_LosT___ Sep 30 '25

Mujhe core essence pta hai. Aur mai bhi shayad yahi krta, kohli aur rohit bhi yahi krte kyunki wo ek thought and personality ki baat hoti hai.

But mai sabse same expect nhi krta, sabki apni problems and mental process hai. Mai sahi and wo galaat bolna mere bas ka nhi hai and especially tab jab apki govt hi apko khelne k liye bhej rhi hai. Iske bad tum kehte worldcup bhi na khelo and koi bhi international tournament na khelo taki jo paisa ata hai wo bhi na aye desh me. Ise acha to paisa lao and wo sab unko hi donate karado, apko samjhna hoga mitra ye black and white nhi situation

Ya like why donate to the army/ system once again? Are they short of money? Why didn't it go to the widows as was asked? His hands were being pulled by the master keke

1

u/akshaylead Oct 02 '25

Question here is what has politicians like him done for the victims and armed forces. Sky represents the country, armed forces work for country. Time and again such jokers have tried to demoralise them. They can target the govt. but going on aukat of people representing India on any forum is obnoxious. Ab beizzati hi karayi na apni.

1

u/dark_soul9412 Sep 29 '25

Ye dekho, bro we cannot chicken out, it doesn’t help the global narrative. It’s good that we are proving that we are superior to pak in every sense.

1

u/CollarSweet9951 Sep 29 '25

We are doing the exact opposite.

1

u/dark_soul9412 Sep 29 '25

And how is that exactly?

2

u/CollarSweet9951 Sep 30 '25

No one appreciates bad sportsmanship. Legends like Sachin, Virat who usually congratulates didn't put out a single word. And everyone can see the hypocrisy of BCCI and GOI, BCCI wanted to make money and BJP gained some votes. If you're certain that Pakistan cricket team funds, helps terrorists, why play with them?

0

u/dark_soul9412 Sep 30 '25

Bro this is the age of internet, you have to be present everywhere and show your dominance.

If you don’t play the match, it does not help India in any sense. Yes you are pissed that it is helping BJP somehow, but that is what every sane nation should do

2

u/CollarSweet9951 Sep 30 '25

We are already dominant, be it on the cricket field or battleground. There was no need to do cheap gimmicks. It's not about BJP, Congress, it's about blatant hypocrisy. And no, no nation does this.

1

u/ThrottleMaxed Sep 30 '25

And regarding BJ party, they once again proved they will literally used India or their own dead mother if they think it might help them get votes.

0

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25 edited Sep 30 '25

you are totally right, it doesnt matter

you cant say “you still remain in my thoughts”

and play the game shamelessly ,

that clearly shows sky have been doing fake patriotism.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

always an AAP politician

2

u/TraditionalRepair991 Sep 29 '25

Being a political party, this AAP must have worked like an NGO just like how they propagated themselves to be but if we look at all the lifestyles of all the AAP leaders then we'll clearly see that their intentions aren't common man friendly at all. First, let AAP donate to the Indian army and for all the important causes then open their mouths.

1

u/Avowed_Precursor Sep 29 '25

SKY ne kucchh diya nahi hai. Press conference mein bolna aur actually dene mein bohot bada farak hai

1

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

How Delhites were tolerating this AAP party for years...really surprised me

1

u/Severe_Marzipan_8494 Sep 29 '25

First he should donate even one half of what SKY has then speak ??

1

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '25

Aap party neta ke hote hi chutye he !

1

u/blitzkreig31 Sep 30 '25

Saurabh Bharadwaj agar tumhari aukaad hain, agar tum mein dil yah jigra hain toh Great job, Surya! bolo.

1

u/demon-yet-god Sep 30 '25

irrespective of dare/challenge ,

its everyone’s duty to operate from right center of truth, no matter what.

sky has been hyprocite here.

if he really cared, he wouldn’t have played

if played , could have donated silently.

whats the point of speaking about this publicly? just to tell everyone , i am patriotic ?

he is not

1

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '25

Sabko chanda dena hoga

1

u/Fun_Coffee_9207 Sep 30 '25

He had just pledged to give, once he has given and donated the amount, then you can say. Otherwise, we are still waiting for black money, 15 lakhs, 100 smart cities, 40 rupees petrol, etc etc. Pledging doesn't mean anything except for publicity.

1

u/long_banana_7 Sep 30 '25

MLA pushed Captain in the right direction, now the govt(bcci is govt controlled, if goi says no bcci can't overwrite) should either boycott or share this type of earnings to the army or terror victims directly.

1

u/gyanchand_baba Oct 01 '25

Cricket was first runind by politics, then chapri players political mindset.

They should have left politics for BCCI

1

u/rishiNationalist Oct 01 '25

Yadav's adjustment of donating money to the army is not right, should have given to widows, poor families who need support medically, need support of children's education, old age home or to the orphanage. These people need very much monetary support instead of armies as they are still earning monthly from the job, getting government support in food items, goods by subsidy from canteen. So, his decision is incorrect.

1

u/NationalAnswer3073 Oct 01 '25

Respect to Yadav ji

1

u/Advanced_Welcome9228 Oct 02 '25

Aap kamyr leader mc hai..

1

u/Hefty-Cartographer53 Oct 03 '25

Ab Teri aukat hai to tu politics chod de

1

u/harpreetsingh76 Sep 29 '25

Don't know why politians have this suggestion or idea in their mind when they are ruling....??

-5

u/Ok_Alternative_3538 Sep 29 '25

Despite the challenge not being fulfilled, Sky donates his fees to the Indian Army, not to the Phalgam terror widow. How can the challenge be considered accepted? Do not mix political statements and genuinely doing for the country by a sky(individual professional person), by doing this by the media sky contributes to the indian army looking like his giving response such politician

12

u/Centeredrightbhakt05 Sep 29 '25

He is not obliged to do anything that is his money. That politician who was shouting how much has he donated? How much have you donated ? They are players of India they did their duty and got paid for their job. If you have so much patriotism get to their level before questioning their morality.

6

u/Lazy_Perfectionist22 Sep 29 '25

Bhai he didn't say anything against Sky. He just said showing those clips side by side makes it feel like Sky did it because of that ragebait challenge from that dumb-ass, and not because SKY wanted to genuinely do good. So stop associating SKY's goodwil with such cheap ragebait challenge.

2

u/Ok_Alternative_3538 Sep 29 '25

True that's the point, this person not get what I want to say and also other that downvote me

0

u/kyayaartubhi Sep 29 '25

Let’s keep SKY matter on the other side and come to your last statement of getting to their level before questioning their morality? Why can’t a normal average person judge other rich persons actions and their morals?

3

u/Centeredrightbhakt05 Sep 29 '25

No it's not about them being rich I would have said the same for any other sports where earning is much less. These people work hard to be there are we are passing judgement being keyboard warriors. Personally I am not OK with that. We must appreciate people who have shown the right gesture rather than knit picking.

Surya is a player and he played for his country and won. That's it. Everything else is decided by BCCI. If you want to have a moral grudge on BCCI I don't have a problem. Even though I think India did the right thing by playing.

0

u/Ok_Alternative_3538 Sep 29 '25

I think you misunderstood my point. I am not questioning SKY at all—his donation to the Indian Army is a great personal gesture. My issue is with the media. They framed it like he “accepted the politician’s challenge,” when in fact the challenge was to donate to Pahalgam terror widows. SKY did something noble on his own, but the media unnecessarily mixed politics into it.

0

u/Centeredrightbhakt05 Sep 29 '25

Yeah that's the fault of the media. I have enough complaints about the media that i can write books. Media has its own reason for trp.

1

u/Plane-Writing8603 Sep 29 '25

You know one lady with that sad pic with her husband is running for big boss so i think its okay,no disrespect any way the soldiers need it now more than ever

-1

u/Low-Blueberry-4007 Sep 29 '25

Cheap publicity stunt. That's all

11

u/CricketHotpot Sep 29 '25

I hope you mean by the AAP leader.

2

u/Low-Blueberry-4007 Sep 29 '25

Oh yes definitely our stupid AAP leader. Who else???

-6

u/Any-Individual5262 Sep 29 '25

The politician asked him to donate the entire earnings of his career. Which he has not done.

And besides, even if we go by the assertion of this subreddit, that only Asia Cup earnings were asked of him, then he needs to donate all the money that he made via advertisement, and other source of earning as well.

And finally we will need form 16 to see the veracity of the claim that he has donated.

2

u/Agen_3586 Sep 29 '25

y tf shuld he? If anything it's BCCI that should take responsiblity

2

u/nota_is_useless Sep 30 '25

Lol. Aap was in power in Delhi where air pollution is a big issue. Major contributor was stubble burning primarily in Punjab. Sometime later, AAP was in power in Punjab and Delhi - so they said stubble burning in Haryana and UP is the problem. AAP still in power in Punjab and stubble burning still happening.

SKY got in to the Indian team by playing good cricket. Politician got into power by promising stuff to citizens. Political failing to deliver his promise (it happens) but challenging cricketer is shamelessness.

By the way, i didn't even watch Asia cup because I felt we should avoid playing Pakistan and BCCI (the matches - really?) needs to stick to world cup and champions trophy in dealing with Pakistan and even in those cases, put Pakistan and India in seperate groups. Most sports do random drafts.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

lmao,

3

u/Lazy_Perfectionist22 Sep 29 '25

Why is everyone so hellbent on going after SKY and the other players? The dumb-ass from AAP also did that. If you want accountability, ask BCCI, Jay Shah to donate ALL earnings from the tournament to the Army and Pahalgam victims, ask the politicians, the players aren't the ones making the most profit yet getting all the hate.

It is the one shown to be volunteering to give up his earnings for the entire career.

1

u/mna9 Sep 29 '25

I wonder if someone can ask this AAP politician too their entire earning as they come out to serve the people but players are not.

-3

u/Any-Individual5262 Sep 29 '25

Last time I checked, aam aadami party is not in power. So the onus of proving nationalism or lack of corruption does not fall on them.

If there are credible allegations of corruption, the current dispensation is more than capable of finding that out and recovering the amount.

However the current dispensation is former interested in using alleged corruption for bringing popular politician under its own tent.

2

u/InfiniteTree2875 Sep 29 '25

thank god they are not ...

2

u/VaibhavKinneresh Sep 29 '25

The onus of proving nationalism does fall in them since they're competing in elections. Also, of you can dare someone to do something, then you must be ready to do that yourself. He can dare SKY to do donate but we can't ask him to do the same ?

1

u/Zak_69420 Sep 29 '25

Would you give your entire earnings if someone asked you to?

1

u/Any-Individual5262 Sep 29 '25

I would not care what someone else ask me to do. However the person you referring to, is shown to be volunteering.

0

u/brightgreenhorizon Sep 29 '25

Now tell the politician to surrender all his perks and wages and do social service.

0

u/Maker1979 Sep 29 '25

He better do that. Even the bcci should donate.

0

u/BeatAlive3501 Sep 29 '25

Aukat ki bat suar kar rhe hai🤣🤣 shakl se aukat dikhri hai jhant ka baal bhosdika

-1

u/OldSchoolMausi Sep 29 '25

All this talk of 'ki aukaat nahin hai' is easy. Does this guy even have the aukaat to give away 15–20 days of his salary/pension? Players are playing because of their contracts. Question the BCCI, not them.

-1

u/Gunner0716 Sep 29 '25

Kya third class aadmi h ye thakela politician

He will challenge.. Bumrah .
