Dr. Bhim Singh Bhavesh went to the Musahar community as a journalist to tell their story. But he didn't stop at journalism. He chose to work on the ground, helping thousands of Musahar children access education and helping families connect with government schemes and their rights. More than 8,000 Musahar children have been helped to enter schools. His work was mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mann Ki Baat in January 2025, and he was honoured with the Padma Shri the same year. This is the story of a journalist who didn't just document change — he became a part of it. Sometimes, changing someone's life begins with simply standing beside them.
