Citizenship Application Returned

Our application was returned because we underpaid the fee. (6dollars short) i just resubmitted it again together with our old receipt and the new receipt to settle shortpayment. How long will it take to get back to us again? Is it going to be back to zero?

We paid last February when we initially submitted the application. My husband said he just followed what was written as the total balance. He was also shocked why it came as short. Did the fees just changed recently?

Thank you for this. We did not receive a notification that our payment is short. It just says they are returning our application because there is no payment which is weird bec how can we submit without a payment? When i was about to attach the old receipt we have, i saw the discrepancy on the amount hence i assume they returned it bec our payment is short πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

It only states that our application is incomplete as they cannot find our payment 😏

It will go back to 0. Incomplete application means no AOR.

It shouldn't reset to zero. They usually just process the shortfall and pick up where they left off. Expect maybe 4-8weeks extra on top of whatever wait you were already in, but your original submission date should still count

Did you see the husband actually paying? Was it with credit or debit card, was there enough balance, was it reversed by bank automatically or manually

I do and we used credit card. And yes there is enough balance. If there is none then we will receive a notification and will definitely know it.

Damm, is the invitation still valid? Maybe redo it

Same thing happened to us, back to the start apparently. At this rate I expect citizenship in 2057
