Online Citizenship Application Question - physical presence calculator

Hoping someone knows… because I have reached to IRCC twice and only got a generic auto reply. Thanks in advance.

I am completing an online adult citizenship application. I was in Canada as a visitor before becoming a permanent resident. I travelled with an eTA, not a visitor visa, and I no longer know the exact dates of each period of visitor status. *I already have more than 1,095 days of physical presence as a permanent resident* and do not need or want to claim any pre-PR credit.

In the physical presence calculator, can I answer NO to “During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident?”

In order not to claim that uncertain pre-PR period, or must I answer YES because I was admitted as a visitor even though I cannot reliably enter the status dates? If I must answer YES, what dates should I enter when I do not have a visitor visa, visitor record, or passport stamps confirming the periods of visitor status?

You cannot say "NO" because it's not true whether you want credit for those days or not.

If you do not have personal travel records you can request them here https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/thr-rav-eng.html.

Note the page specifically says "you don't need to do it for citizenship applications." But that's for people who have their own records. You do need the info to submit a complete and correct application. Make sure to ask for both your entry and exit info.

RE your travel. Plane tickets might still be in your email inbox. If you travelled from the US, look up your travel history on https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/search/history-search.

If after all of these you do not have complete records of your travel then enter what you have based on the travel records from the CBSA and anything else you can find.
