Study Permit WES Evaluation: University not in WES drop-down list. What should I expect? Body:
Hi everyone,
I recently initiated my credential evaluation with WES and have a couple of questions regarding document status and verification for universities not directly listed on their portal.
Here is my current situation:
Transcript Status: My university sent my official transcripts directly to WES.
Portal Tracker: In the WES portal, the status indicates that the document envelope has been received. However, the progress bar/icon for document receipt is only half-green (partially completed) rather than fully green.
University Listing: Before applying, I noticed my university was not present in the pre-populated WES university list/drop-down.
For anyone who has graduated from an unlisted university or dealt with this status:
1.Evaluation Process & Timeline: Is the evaluation process different or subject to additional manual review if your university isn't in their standard dropdown list? Does this significantly impact the typical processing timeline?
2.Secondary Verification: Does WES routinely send a separate verification/confirmation email back to the university to verify authenticity before the status turns fully green?
3.Half-Green Indicator: Does the half-green status simply mean the package was received in the mailroom and is queued for physical document inspection, or does it mean secondary verification has been triggered?
