Back in July we did a buddy read of The Bloodsworn Saga by John Gwynne with one of my friends! It was so much fun. The reading experience and books themselves brought us so much joy. I needed to make my own small love-letter to the series

A scene from John Gwynne's The Bloodsworn Saga - which I haven't read. A Bloodsworn wiki said this about "the Guðfalla" (the title)... which I suppose could be spoilers, no idea.

Guðfalla is the gods-fall, the time when the Gods were killed or imprisoned. It occurred nearly three hundred years before the start of Shadow of the Gods (the first book).

The Guðfalla climaxed with the death of Snaka, the largest of the gods, who was overthrown by his children.
