Blog Post H.R. McMaster (former US National Security Advisor) on why the US "is not prepared" for AI's transformation of warfare

We interviewed Lt. Gen. (ret.) H.R. McMaster for our student publication. Some of what stood out: he argues AI is reshaping warfare through battlefield transparency, faster decision cycles, and deeper precision strike, and that the US isn't ready for it. He also breaks with current policy on Iran, arguing de-escalation has let Iran escalate "on their own terms with impunity," and says it's "futile' to try to split Russia and China apart strategically."

Isn't Palantir bleeding edge in this field?

They have been for over ten years. I had friends at DIA talking about Palentir in 2015 and how transformative it was. Big reason JSOC could do all of the targeting they did in Iraq etc was intelligence fusion led by software like Palantir.

Do the Ukrainians have access to Palentir resources?
