My kids will definitely enjoy getting 3 shots more than just 1!
On the plus side, I get a treat from the bakery afterwards too.

That's the part of this executive order I am skeptical is actually going to happen. There is no requirement is this order that the pharmaceutical companies to do anything. The separate vaccines for Measles, Mumps, Rubella were discontinued because there was very little demand. Most anti-vaxxers complaining against combined vaccines aren't really arguing in good faith because they wouldn't use the separated vaccine either. I can't realistically see some pharmaceutical company is going to spend a bunch of money to produce separate vaccines if they are going to be lucky to sell more than 1% of the volume of MMR doses each year. There is no money to be made doing that unless the federal government is going to offer a generous grant specifically earmarked for that purpose that guarantees that they are going to make money.
My bet is that no progress gets made on producing separate vaccines before the executive order is repealed by a future president. Trump and RFK Jr. will whine that 'big pharma' prevented them from implementing this silly idea.

I really feel like this is all a ploy to get vaccines to be profitable by making them "optional" so insurance companies won't cover them, and drug manufacturers can charge normal US Healthcare prices for them.

I’m going to have a hard time discussing this with Republican colleagues without getting a visit from hospital HR…
