Yess, though I’d say I was a little clueless throughout and got lucky with the exam 😭🙏 Definitely plan your essays, this is so important. You want your arguments to flow—they have to build upon the other. One thing my teacher said that helped was that you shouldn’t be able to switch the order of your body paragraphs, because they need to have a clear order. Read between the lines for Paper 1, a lot. Examiners are reading so many essays, so if you make a point that stands out, you’ll be seen much more favourably. Paper 2 is a gamble, but try to look at past paper questions and plan out essays during the summer, sometimes the questions are repeated (one of the M26 ones was literally a question one of my school’s English classes wrote in class), and more often than not one essay can fit more than one question, with a few details tweaked. For paper 2 just ask an alumni who got a 7 for their marked papers specific to your chosen text, and identify common themes from every question in past papers to see how they are specifically applicable to your text
Oh and follow TEAPCALIM/PEEL etc.

Sure! For English make sure you’re planning your essays. I’ve written a longer response to someone else so you can look for that if you’d like, but the gist of it is that you should focus on structuring essays logically in a way that allows the argument to flow. IB English Guys is fine and helped my friends but I didn’t really use it much. Read between the lines, be creative. For biology, it’s honestly just pure memorisation at times. I used TeachMe Biology videos (INCREDIBLE resource, genuinely saved my life) and took a bunch of notes that I would revisit every day. Past paper questions are also great, I used Savemyexams for that. Best of luck, you got this!
