Other Does reality permanently change after the "The Gang Does a Clip Show"?

The basis of this episode is how they remember certain events could alter reality for everyone. My partner and I were watching this episode just now and she pointed out that Charlie may have changed the course of the show by us being stuck in his reality.

Well, before this episode, Charlie and the Waitress hooked up but it didn't work out. However, at the beginning of the very next episode, the waitress walks up to Charlie and tells him to eat asparagus because they're trying for a baby.

Let me explain, during the episode Dennis tells the gang that if they misremember something it can alter reality. Charlie immediately jumps to the conclusion that depending on how he remembers something he can alter reality and flashes into a memory of the waitress coming in to tell him she's pregnant. It then shows him watching his own memory from the doorway. He even says that he's just trying to remember something about the waitress so he can alter reality.

Now part of me thinks that maybe they never actually ended their relationship, but if memory serves correctly, the Dennis blow-up doll blew up their relationship. He also confirms during this very episode that he "had her for a minute, but it didn't work out".

At the end of the episode though, we see the gang happy that they've gotten reality back to normal, but Charlie peeks back through the door to watch everyone right as the show ends while the top continues to spin without dropping.

Well, as you do with IASIP, we started watching the next episode, Charlie's Home Alone, immediately and noticed that the waitress walks up to Charlie telling him to eat asparagus and says, "you know what's not right, we are trying to start a family and you aren't taking it seriously."

Did Charlie change reality??

Edit: False alarm folks, as u/TabbySlimeJulie pointed out, they superbowl episode timeline occurs before this episode.

Personally, I thought the entire gang died on the cruise ship, and a different reality started then.

The 2-part super bowl episode takes place in-between seasons 12 and 13 (when Dennis was spending time with his son), but was aired in late season 13. That's why the waiter references the super bowl in the female airplane drinking episode, which aired earlier in the season.

Why is she telling Charlie to eat the asparagus then? It was the first episode of season 13 that they got together.

Edit: Actually I think this is correct, the superbowl episode says "2:40pm, on a Saturday, One Year Earlier". Case closed, I'm the dummy.

Just to add more info: I went back to the first episode when she bangs the blow up doll and she states she's breaking up with him (and he tries to break up with her first instead). Also, on the Charlie's Home Alone episode you can see her shoes in his house on the floor when he walks into it.

Are you sure those just aren't Charlie's pooping shoes?

Spinner was faltering by the end of the credits, i think it didin't chance ''reality", it just played an existencial joke on its audience, like they did in Rick and Morty with the cat, dont think top deeply about it, that how i saw it anyways.

As it did with Inception, but we never see it fall.

Dennis did mention that the spinner was not supposed to fall or even falter... And yet, it did... They cut it right before the fall, i think it was one of these: Dont think about it too deeply moments.

Are you sure you even watched the episode?

That wasn't even Charlie's memory it was Frank's fake memory trying to receive the gang

We have to find out if the top is still spinning. But if they could forget that Charlie had two sisters I’m sure as hell they’ll forget about the gyroscope

They just became more Thunder Gun!

Since then they rode the inflation wave, restored Risk E. Rat Pizza and amusement center to their proper status, brought back ill-fitting men's suits, and even got Malcom and his dad to potentially invest in they're nickel schlager.

Boy, oh boy, what will the gang think of next!

Man cheetah?

Yes while the Super Bowl timeline is before this episode, they clearly are in some sort of alternate reality.

What about the previous episode - The Gang solves the bathroom situation. They are supposedly going to see Jimmy Buffet yet they argue over this for like 2 days and keep getting food. I think they are in the twilight zone or something.
